Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch

Two limited editions featuring genuine muonionalusta meteorite dials
Gerald Charles was founded on the final creative legacy of the iconic designer Gérald Charles Genta, working within a highly personal design language defined by sculptural cases, technical clarity, and a philosophy that treats the dial as an artistic composition.

At the heart of this identity stands the Maestro collection, whose asymmetrical silhouette has become the maison’s visual signature. The line has produced standout creations such as the Tiger Eye Tourbillon, Jumping Hours, and integrated-bracelet models. In 2021, the brand introduced the Maestro 2.0, a modernised architecture featuring refined ergonomics, increased water resistance, and an in-house mechanical movement developed specifically to follow the collection’s curved profile. Today, the family expands with two Maestro 2.0 Meteorite editions fitted with genuine Muonionalusta meteorite dials.

The watch is housed in the maison’s signature Maestro case, measuring 39 x 41 mm, and crafted from stainless steel. Two finishes are offered. One features a Darkblast-treated case, a proprietary sandblasted finish developed by Gerald Charles, while the second is presented in polished steel. A vertically brushed stainless steel caseback secures the movement and supports water resistance rated at 100 meters.

The dial is constructed on two levels and features genuine Muonionalusta meteorite layered over an aluminium base plate. One version pairs an anthracite meteorite surface with a red anodised base, while the second combines a white meteorite dial with an opaline rhodiated base plate. Baton-shaped flat hour and minute hands are joined by a star-shaped counter positioned at 6 o’clock. Applied baton indices are complemented by deformed Roman numerals at 3, 6, 9, and 12. All are rhodium-plated, polished, and filled with white Super-LumiNova X1 that emits a green glow.

Powering the watch is the Gerald Charles manufacture calibre GCA2011, an automatic movement operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and delivering a power reserve of 50 hours. Each version is supplied with a Velcro strap and an additional natural rubber strap in a matching colour, secured by a Darkblast Grade 5 titanium buckle. The watch is produced in a limited edition of 100 pieces per version. Pricing is set at CHF 23,000, approximately AED 105,400, for the silver version, and CHF 24,200, approximately AED 110,900, for the Darkblast version.
