Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch

A new release that expands the chronograph diver collection with a bold green dial
Favre Leuba traces its origins back to 1737, making it one of the oldest names in Swiss watchmaking. Over the years, the brand built its reputation for crafting robust and functional tool watches, particularly during the 1960s, when it introduced iconic chronographs and diver’s watches that left a lasting mark on the industry. After periods of silence, Favre Leuba’s modern revival was led by industry veteran Patrik Hoffmann, who relaunched the brand during Geneva Watch Days 2024.
Among the highlights of that comeback was the Sea Sky Revival, a faithful reinterpretation of a 1960s model that merged the utility of a diver’s watch with the technical sophistication of a chronograph. The collection now welcomes the Sea Sky Revival Green Dial, a new addition distinguished by its striking green hue.
The watch features a stainless steel case with brushed and polished surfaces, measuring 40 mm in diameter and 15.23 mm in thickness. It is fitted with a unidirectional rotating bezel that incorporates a glossy black ceramic insert, notched for grip and topped with a luminous inverted triangle at 12 o’clock. A double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides completes the case, ensuring excellent legibility and offering a subtle nod to the domed acrylic crystals of vintage chronographs. Turning the watch over reveals a sapphire exhibition caseback that showcases the beautifully finished movement inside. The case is water-resistant to 100 meters.
The green sunburst dial draws inspiration from its 1960s ancestor and retains the tricompax chronograph layout, featuring three black sub-dials: a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, a 12-hour counter at 6, and small seconds at 9. The tachymeter and telemeter scales run along the periphery, printed in white for strong contrast against the green background. The rhodium-plated arrow hands and markers are filled with high-performance Super-LumiNova X1 for exceptional visibility in low light.
Powering the watch is the automatic calibre FLC01, developed in collaboration with La Joux-Perret and based on the L112 Top Grade movement. This automatic column-wheel chronograph operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and delivers a 60-hour power reserve. The movement is beautifully decorated with blued screws, perlage on the bridges, Côtes de Genève on the plates, and a rose gold PVD skeleton rotor engraved with the Favre Leuba monogram.

The watch is paired with a black leather strap featuring quick-release push pins for easy interchangeability. It is secured with a stainless steel pin buckle engraved with the brand’s logo. This model joins the brand’s permanent collection at a price of CHF 3,950 (approximately AED 18,300).
