Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch

A diving watch featuring a fully luminous dial in a spectrum of bold hues
The Swiss brand Delma introduced the Oceanmaster collection in 2017 in connection with the NY Vendée, formally known as the Transat New York Vendée, a solo transatlantic sailing race that begins in New York City and ends in Les Sables-d'Olonne, in the Vendée region of France. Since then, the Oceanmaster has become one of the brand’s signature collections. Over the years, it has produced some of Delma’s most remarkable creations, including the Oceanmaster Oliver Heer Ocean Racing, crafted to honor offshore sailor Oliver Heer and featuring the concept of a fully luminous dial. This year, the brand expands on that idea with the Oceanmaster Lume, offering the same striking concept in a spectrum of bold colors.
The watch is housed in a robust stainless-steel case measuring 44 mm in diameter, 13.8 mm in thickness, and 51 mm lug-to-lug. It features a unidirectional nautical bezel and a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Built for endurance, the case is water-resistant to 500 meters. A transparent sapphire caseback reveals the movement within, an uncommon feature for a watch with this level of water resistance.

The highlight of the model is its fully luminous dial, available in Dark Blue, Dark Green, Dark Orange, or Dark Yellow Super-LumiNova. The dial is equipped with applied indexes and hands coated in Super-LumiNova, along with a tactical planner and points-of-sail indicators that underscore its nautical pedigree. A framed date window completes the layout at 3 o’clock.

Powering the watch is the Sellita SW200-1, an automatic movement that beats at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and provides a 41-hour power reserve. The watch comes on a stainless-steel three-link bracelet with a deployant clasp, fitted with pushers for ease of adjustment.

Unlike the limited Oliver Heer edition, the Oceanmaster Lume becomes a permanent addition to the collection. It is priced at CHF 1,350, approximately AED 6,100.
