Introducing The New Bell & Ross BR-05 Skeleton Phantom Ceramic

Bell & Ross has established itself as a pioneer in utilitarian design, drawing deep inspiration from military and aviation aesthetics. The brand is best known for its emblematic “circle within a square” design, a modern interpretation of cockpit instruments. In its latest release, Bell & Ross introduces the BR-05 Skeleton Phantom Ceramic, a sleek, all-black timepiece that blends technical sophistication with urban elegance.

The case is crafted entirely from black ceramic with brushed and polished finishes. Measuring 41mm in diameter and 11.2mm in thickness, the ceramic material was chosen for its high scratch resistance, light weight, and hypoallergenic properties, qualities that lend the watch a contemporary and durable character. Integrated lugs and a sculpted silhouette emphasize the seamless, architectural look of the BR 05 collection. A sapphire crystal caseback reveals the openworked movement, highlighting the blackened upper bridge and 360-degree rotor. The watch is water-resistant to 100 meters.

The skeletonised dial is made from black-tinted sapphire crystal, offering a view into the rhodium-plated movement below. Applied indices and hands are coated with grey Super-LumiNova, which glows green in the dark. A rhodium-plated central seconds hand completes the dial’s modern, technical look.

Powering the watch is the BR-CAL.322-1, a proprietary automatic movement developed specifically for Bell & Ross. It beats at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz) and delivers a robust 54-hour power reserve. The watch is available with either a black ceramic bracelet or a black rubber strap, both equipped with a black PVD-coated deployant clasp.

Limited to just 500 pieces, the BR-05 Skeleton Phantom Ceramic is priced at USD 9,800, approximately AED 36,000 with the bracelet, and USD 8,900, approximately AED 33,000 with the strap.
