Expanding the TOP GUN Pilot’s collection with sand-colored ceramic
Over the decades, IWC has pioneered the use of innovative materials, particularly ceramic and titanium, and established itself as one of the leading makers of functional timepieces, especially through its iconic Pilot’s Watch collections. Now, IWC expands its “Colors of TOP GUN” series with the Pilot’s Watch Automatic 41 TOP GUN Mojave Desert. Crafted from the brand’s signature sand-colored ceramic known as “Mojave Desert,” this material is typically seen in larger models. However, this release follows the example set by the white Lake Tahoe edition, clean, simple, and housed in a midsize 41 mm case.
The watch features a 11.4mm thick case, crafted from IWC’s sand-colored ceramic. This warm, earthy tone echoes the landscape surrounding California’s China Lake naval air base and the flight suits worn by Navy pilots. Engineered for durability, the ceramic case resists scratches and extreme conditions while maintaining its distinctive color. The titanium caseback is engraved with the iconic TOP GUN logo and offers a water resistance of 100 meters.
The brown dial continues the tonal harmony of the case, featuring subdued numerals and indices coated with Super-LumiNova for legibility in low-light conditions. Its clean layout includes a date window at 3 o'clock and central hands for timekeeping.

Powering the watch is the IWC-manufactured 32112 calibre, an automatic movement that beats at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and boasts a 120-hour power reserve. It is paired with a beige rubber strap with a textile inlay, secured by a titanium pin buckle. This model joins the permanent collection and is priced at USD 8,500, approximately AED 31,300.
