Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A limited edition created for the Chinese Year of the Horse
In 2014, Hublot introduced the Spirit of Big Bang collection, translating the Big Bang’s layered construction into a tonneau-shaped case and offering a different spatial dynamic on the wrist. Over time, the Spirit line has become a platform for some of Hublot’s most visually ambitious executions, where case, dial, and movement are conceived as a unified structure.

For the Chinese Lunar New Year of 2026, Hublot introduces the Spirit of Big Bang Year of the Horse Frosted Carbon, a limited edition that places carbon at the center of its identity.

The case is presented in the collection’s characteristic tonneau form, measuring 42 mm in diameter with a thickness of 13.80 mm. It is crafted entirely from frosted carbon, finished in matte black, with black-plated titanium screws and a sapphire crystal treated with an anti-reflective coating. The caseback combines frosted carbon with a smoked sapphire crystal, offering a restrained view of the movement while preserving the dark, monochromatic aesthetic. The watch is water resistant to 100 meters.

The dial is rendered in polished black lacquer, serving as a deep, reflective base for an applied horse motif created through hand-laid carbon marquetry and gold-plated brass. The color palette remains deliberately restrained, with black dominating the surface and gold accents defining the contours of the design. The central hands are finished in black, while traditional hour indices are omitted entirely.

Powering the watch is the MHUB1710 automatic movement, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz), and delivering a power reserve of 50 hours. The watch is fitted with a black calfskin leather strap, secured by a deployant clasp in black ceramic and black-plated titanium. Production is limited to 88 pieces, priced at CHF 33,000, approximately AED 155,900.
