Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A fusion of minimalist design and a high-precision moonphase
H. Moser & Cie. stands apart in modern watchmaking as an independent manufacture that challenges convention. Rooted in 19th-century Swiss horological tradition yet driven by a distinctly contemporary spirit, the brand is admired for its in-house mechanical development and its bold decision to strip watches down to their purest visual and technical essence.
The Streamliner collection reflects this philosophy through modern forms inspired by the Streamline design movement of the early 20th century. Conceived as a luxury sports watch with an integrated bracelet that prioritises ergonomics and sculptural flow, the collection has evolved into one of the brand’s most recognisable modern families. In its latest release, the brand unveils the Streamliner Perpetual Moon Concept Meteorite, pairing a highly precise lunar display with a dial crafted from a Gibeon meteorite that fell to Earth thousands of years ago in the Kalahari Desert, Namibia.
The watch is housed in a stainless steel case measuring 40 mm in diameter and 13.2 mm in thickness. The case features a combination of satin brushed and polished surfaces, creating a fluid profile that flows seamlessly into the bracelet. The caseback is fitted with a sapphire exhibition window, offering a full view of the movement. Water resistance is rated at 120 metres thanks to the screw-down crown. A discreet pusher on the case side allows precise adjustment of the moon-phase display.
The dial is crafted from a genuine slice of the Gibeon meteorite, revealing its natural Widmanstätten crystalline structure. It is finished in a golden tone with a fumé gradient that darkens towards the edges. In keeping with the Concept philosophy, the dial is free of logos and hour markers. Time is displayed by red gold hour and minute hands filled with luminous Globolight. A red gold central seconds hand is coated with Super-LumiNova. At 6 o’clock, a wide aperture showcases the moon phase, featuring a textured red gold moon set against a dark background.
Inside beats the in-house HMC 270 automatic calibre. The movement operates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz) and offers a power reserve of 72 hours. Through the caseback, a skeletonised 18-carat red gold rotor can be observed. The moon-phase mechanism is engineered to deviate by only one day every 1,027 years.
The watch is fitted with an integrated stainless steel bracelet with brushed surfaces and polished accents. It is secured to the wrist by a triple folding clasp. The price is set at CHF 35,000, approximately AED 160,000.
