Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch

The fifth addition to the iconic HANDwerk collection
Founded by German independent watchmaker Stefan Kudoke, the Kudoke brand has carved a name for itself through a commitment to traditional craftsmanship, hand-finishing, and artistic expression in mechanical watchmaking. One of the brand’s best-known collections is the HANDwerk line, which has spawned numerous releases, including the K3. This year, the brand is launching the fifth addition to the line, the Kudoke 5.
The watch is housed in a polished stainless steel case measuring 38 mm in diameter and 12 mm in height. It features an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and is paired with an onion-shaped crown at 3 o’clock.
Unlike the K2, where the 24-hour display appears on a subdial, the K5 replaces conventional timekeeping with a more intuitive alternative. The dial is centered around a rotating, dome-shaped disc that reflects the 24-hour cycle. At a glance, the visible upper portion indicates the current phase, day or night. The center is hand-engraved with the Little Dipper constellation, accented with Polaris, and treated with multiple galvanic layers in gold and rhodium tones. Surrounding it, a two-part ring segments the time into readable 15-minute intervals.

Powering the watch is the hand-wound Kaliber 1-24H_L, developed entirely in-house. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offers a 46-hour power reserve. The movement integrates a dial-side 24-hour complication supported by a ball bearing system, ensuring smooth rotation. The watch comes with a black leather strap, and the price is still upon request.
