Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
The most luxurious releases from the independent Swiss brand
Romain Gauthier is one of the most innovative and skilled watchmakers in today’s era, celebrated for creating visually stunning timepieces that showcase intricate craftsmanship with a modern twist. The brand combines traditional watchmaking techniques with an elegant and sporty aesthetic, offering creations in refined materials such as titanium and platinum.
Recently, the brand released the C by Romain Gauthier Titanium Edition Six, the sixth and final addition of the titanium collection. Today, the brand unveils a new milestone, a fully platinum version of the C by Romain Gauthier with an integrated bracelet, a sophisticated blend of luxury and innovation poised to captivate.
The platinum case features a refined blend of brushed and polished surfaces, measuring 41mm in diameter and 9.55mm in thickness. Its bezel, also crafted from platinum, is initially machined into a round shape, with six straight sides cut to create six elegant facets. The dial is protected by sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. The watch also includes the brand’s signature offset crown positioned at 2 o’clock.
The dial, made from 18k white gold, showcases a bouchardé texture—an intricate, hand-engraved finish crafted by the manufacturer's skilled decoration and finishing experts. A blue PVD treatment is then applied to the dial, enriching the texture. The dial is adorned with Super-LumiNova hands, also in 18k white gold, along with matching white gold indexes and Roman numerals, and includes a small seconds sub-dial positioned at 7 o’clock.
The watch is driven by an in-house, hand-wound movement crafted from 18k white gold, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz) and providing a power reserve of 60 hours. It comes with an integrated platinum bracelet with a folding clasp, giving the watch a total weight of 350 grams. Each bracelet link showcases contrasting finishes, with satin-finished surfaces and hand-polished connecting elements. The watch is priced at CHF 118,000, equivalent to AED 503,000.
