In collaboration with Stephen Silver to Celebrate the Opening of MB&F LAB
To commemorate the opening of the MB&F LAB in Silicon Valley, California, in partnership with retailer Stephen Silver, the series now features a limited edition of 18 pieces crafted in 18K rose gold, paired with an ocean blue dial plate.
The MB&F EVO line, first introduced in 2020 with the debut of the LM Perpetual EVO, has since evolved with various iterations. The initial launch included three limited editions in zirconium, followed by a titanium version featuring a green CVD dial plate, this year succeeded by an ice blue dial plate. Now, the collection expands with its first gold-cased edition, showcasing a striking deep blue dial plate.
The case measures 44mm in diameter and 17.5mm in thickness, crafted from rose gold, the case showcases a no-bezel construction, where the domed sapphire crystal is seamlessly fused directly to the case, with a double sprung oblong pushers to adjust perpetual calendar functions.
The dial features an Ocean blue CVD coating. At the center of the dial, you'll find the V-shaped bridge arching above the 14mm balance wheel, which is a signature element of the LM Series. The hours and minutes are indicated at 12 o’clock on a black galvanic disc, with luminescent-tipped hands and light blue indices.
Positioned at 3 o’clock are the days of the week, while the power reserve indicator is located at 5 o'clock. At 7 o'clock, you'll find the retrograde leap year indicator, with the months displayed at 6 o’clock and the date indicated at 9 o’clock.
The timepiece features a fully integrated perpetual calendar with manual winding with double mainspring barrels, a creation developed for MB&F by Stephen Mc Donnell, incorporating a mechanical processor and dial-side complication. It boasts a power reserve of 72 hours, operates at 18,000 vph (2.5 Hz), comprises 581 components, and includes 41 jewels.
The new LM Perpetual EVO Silicon Valley Edition comes with a blue rubber strap equipped with a rose gold folding buckle, priced at USD 208,000 which is equivalent to AED 763,000.
