The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing The Armoriale Répétition Mystérieuse by Parmigiani Fleurier

A Unique Creation Honoring the Founder’s Birthday

Parmigiani Fleurier honors the anniversary of its founder, Michel Parmigiani, on December 2 by unveiling a unique masterpiece: the Armoriale Répétition Mystérieuse. This extraordinary creation harmoniously blends artisanal craftsmanship with cutting-edge acoustic engineering, embodying the pinnacle of haute horology.

Paying homage to Michel’s profound passion for complications, this secret watch is a stunning minute repeater that elevates the art of watchmaking to new heights.

The inaugural piece in a series of unique creations is crafted from white gold and adorned with pastel green Grand Feu enameling. This exquisite display of craftsmanship is a testament to the maison's tradition of innovation and artistry.

The watch features a meticulously designed 42mm white gold case, created exclusively for this one-of-a-kind model. Showcasing the highest levels of craftsmanship and aesthetic excellence, the piece encapsulates Michel Parmigiani’s dedication to beauty and precision.  The crown is positioned at 3 o’clock, while the minute repeater pusher is at 9 o’clock, seamlessly integrating functionality with design.

Unlike conventional timepieces, the Armoriale Répétition Mystérieuse reveals its secrets gradually. The front dial, dedicated entirely to artistry, features a pastel green translucent enamel with a finely guilloché pattern. Intricate engravings of a pinecone—a symbol of infinity and an inspiration for Michel Parmigiani.

The reverse side discreetly displays the time. Its rose gold hour and minute indices rest on a captivating disk of Guatemalan white jade.

At the heart of the Armoriale Répétition Mystérieuse lies a manual-winding movement developed by Renaud Papi. With 392 components and a 72-hour power reserve, it exemplifies mechanical ingenuity. The cathedral gongs, which encircle the movement almost twice, deliver prolonged, resonant chimes reminiscent of grand bells. Their sound is amplified by the hollowed-out case back and sides, ensuring unparalleled acoustic clarity.

The assembly process presents a technical challenge of the highest caliber, with each component meticulously calibrated to optimize tension, resonance, and timekeeping precision.

Parmigiani Fleurier enhances this horological marvel with a bespoke watch box, featuring a resonator crafted from Risoud spruce wood. This elegant case amplifies the chimes of the minute repeater, allowing the owner to modulate the resonance by positioning the watch at various points within the box. This interactive feature creates a sensory experience that further underscores the maison’s horological artistry.
