Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
Elegant releases inspired by the artistry of haute couture
Switzerland has long been the heartland of fine watchmaking, but amid the industry giants, independent artisans continue to push boundaries and redefine tradition. One such name is Taos, a rising brand that embodies the finest craftsmanship in horology, blending centuries-old techniques with contemporary artistry. This new independent brand is dedicated to métiers d’art, as demonstrated in its inaugural collection. Taos elevates watchmaking to an art form, collaborating with some of the most skilled engravers, enamellers, and artisans in the Swiss watchmaking world to ensure that each creation is a masterpiece.
Drawing inspiration from haute couture and the artistry of textile craftsmanship, Taos introduces a trio of exceptional Métiers d’Art watches for 2025. These one-of-a-kind timepieces translate the essence of luxury fabrics into fine watchmaking. Each watch houses an automatic movement and is adorned with intricate hand-engraving that evokes the textures and patterns of exquisite textiles.
Inspired by the rich heritage of Scottish tartan and the bespoke tailoring of London’s Savile Row, this timepiece embodies the precision of woven textiles. Its 38mm white gold case houses an exquisite dial featuring hand-engraving beneath multiple layers of translucent enamel, applied at varying depths to create the illusion of woven threads.

The Savile Row watch is powered by the VOP318 caliber, developed exclusively for Taos by the Swiss manufacturer Télôs. This automatic movement boasts double-barrel winding in parallel, a 72-hour power reserve and operates at a frequency of (4 Hz), and an invisible rotor hidden within the case. The watch comes with a blue calfskin strap with an alligator pattern and a white gold pin buckle. It is priced at CHF 140,000 (approximately AED 581,200).
A tribute to the delicate Swiss laces of Saint-Gall, the Dentelle watch captures the refinement and intricacy of lacework. The dial features finely engraved patterns beneath a layer of translucent enamel, creating an effect reminiscent of embroidery. A silver paillon mesh is carefully placed within the enamel, lending the illusion of lace threads suspended in time.

Set within an 18K white gold case with diamond-set lugs and bezel, the Dentelle is a testament to Taos' pursuit of elegance. Like its counterparts, it is powered by the VOP318 caliber. The watch is paired with a beige nubuck leather strap, stitched by hand in Geneva. The price is still upon request.
Evoking the shimmering embellishments of haute couture, the Sequins watch plays with texture and light through raised hand-engraving and a mesmerizing red-to-burgundy enamel gradient. Each tiny sequin-like detail is sculpted to reflect light, creating a dazzling effect enhanced by gold appliqués and delicate gem-setting.
