A limited edition that celebrate the partnership with Goodwood Festival of Speed
TAG Heuer returns to the legendary Goodwood Festival of Speed as its Official Timing Partner, an annual motorsports festival featuring motor racing vehicles taking part in a hillclimb and other events. The brand has long shaped the intersection of watchmaking and high-octane competition, from inventing precise chronographs to pioneering dashboard timers used in racing. This deep-rooted connection to motorsport is more than just a legacy, it's a living part of TAG Heuer’s identity.
To celebrate its ongoing partnership with Goodwood, TAG Heuer unveils the limited-edition Carrera Chronograph x Festival of Speed. Measuring 42mm in diameter and 14.5mm thick, the case is crafted from finely brushed and polished stainless steel. It’s topped with a domed, beveled sapphire crystal, treated on both sides for enhanced clarity, and framed by a polished bezel. On the reverse, a screw-down sapphire caseback features the Festival of Speed logo and is engraved with the watch’s unique edition number out of 100. The case is water-resistant to 100 meters.
The green dial features a textured clous de Paris finish and is accented by three subdials. Azurage-finished counters at 3 and 9 o’clock track elapsed minutes and hours, while the small seconds at 6 o’clock also sports a clous de Paris pattern. Rhodium-plated hands and indices glow with Super-LumiNova, while a red-lacquered chronograph seconds hand adds a burst of motorsport energy. A discreet date window is positioned at 6 o’clock.
Powering the watch is the automatic Calibre TH20-00, TAG Heuer’s next-generation movement. It offers precise timekeeping with chronograph functionality, operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), and delivers an impressive 80-hour power reserve.
The watch is paired with a brown perforated calfskin leather strap, evoking vintage racing gloves, secured by a stainless steel folding clasp with TAG Heuer branding and safety push-buttons. Limited to just 100 pieces, the watch is priced at £6,450, approximately AED 32,100.
