A Limited Edition for the Year of the Horse 2026 Honoring Chinese Culture
In tribute to the Year of the Fire Horse in 2026, TAG Heuer introduces a special edition of its iconic Carrera collection. Every detail of this timepiece is infused with symbolic and cultural artistry. The dial glows with a warm ember gradient, evoking the fiery vitality of the legendary Fire Horse while reflecting the timeless elegance of the TAG Heuer Carrera collection. This timepiece bridges over six decades of the Carrera’s racing legacy with the profound symbolism of Chinese culture.

Encased in the iconic 39mm glassbox case, it features a steel screw-down sapphire caseback adorned with a horse motif and the dedicated engraving “Limited Edition – One of 250.” The case measures 13.87 mm in thickness, with a lug-to-lug distance of 46 mm, and offers 100 meters of water resistance. Finely engraved on the caseback, the Victory Wreath offers a subtle tribute to triumph and excellence.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Year of the Horse exemplifies TAG Heuer’s dedication to innovation and design elegance. Its 18K 5N rose gold–plated hands and indexes gleam against radiant red accents, forming a composition that balances boldness with refinement.
At 9 o’clock, the numeral “7” on the date display is replaced by a meticulously crafted motif of the Chinese character “马” (Horse), honoring the Horse’s seventh position in the Chinese zodiac cycle. At 3 o’clock, a 30-minute chronograph counter in red “azuré” adds a sporty yet sophisticated touch.

The beige dial features a refined sunray-brushed finish, enhanced by a champagne-colored flange displaying a 60-second/minute scale alongside a tachymeter. The applied indexes, facetted and polished in 18K 5N rose gold, harmonize perfectly with the red-lacquered central chronograph hand. The hour and minute hands, also facetted and polished in 18K 5N rose gold, are filled with white Super-LumiNova® for optimal legibility. The dial is completed with the applied 18K 5N rose gold TAG Heuer logo and crisp “CARRERA” and “SWISS” inscriptions, blending elegance with a distinctive racing-inspired flair.
Through the sapphire crystal caseback, the in-house Calibre TH20-07 reveals its mechanical prowess. At the center, an embossed galloping horse symbolizes unrestrained energy and celebrates the racing spirit that has defined the collection’s heritage. Delivering an 80-hour power reserve, this automatic movement ensures continuous precision and stability, even in the most dynamic settings.
The Beads-of-Rice bracelet, finely brushed and polished, complements the watch’s overall elegance and sporty character.
Limited to 250 pieces, the TAG Heuer Carrera Year of the Horse Chronograph is individually numbered “One of 250” and presented in bespoke festive packaging that reflects the vibrant colors of the Chinese New Year. Priced at USD 7,850 which is equivalent to AED 28,800.
