Combining Motorsport Legacy and Modern Craftsmanship, Four Chronographs and Two Tourbillon Timepieces
TAG Heuer, renowned for its deep-rooted heritage in motorsport, has recently undergone a leadership change as LVMH appointed Antoine Pin as the new CEO. Pin, who previously led Bulgari’s watch division, succeeds Julien Tornare. This shift comes as TAG Heuer is rumored to be in talks to replace Rolex as the official sponsor of Formula 1, though no official confirmation has been made to date.
Known for its longstanding connection to motorsport, TAG Heuer continues to celebrate its racing heritage through its Carrera collection. Following the success of the Carrera Chronograph x Porsche 963 special edition, TAG Heuer has now launched six permanent additions to this iconic collection.
This latest release features four chronographs and two chronograph tourbillons, each paying tribute to the brand’s legendary ties to racing, the evolution of motorsport, and its innovative use of advanced materials and cutting-edge design.
The four chronographs in the series are presented in vibrant colorways of orange, blue, black, and 18K 5N solid pink gold. Each model boasts a 44mm case with a thickness of 15.1mm, featuring a combination of brushed and polished finishes. The recessed sides of the case have been sandblasted for contrast.

The tachymeter scale is inscribed on a matte black ceramic bezel, and all four chronographs feature DLC-coated titanium pushers, crowns, and casebacks – with the pushers and crowns in grade-5 titanium and the caseback in grade-2 titanium. The sides of the case are intricately hollowed out and finely grained, with three engraved lines reminiscent of piston rings.

Two models in the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport series are equipped with a tourbillon for enhanced precision. One features a sporty titanium case with a forged carbon bezel and tachymeter scale, while the transparent case back showcases the TAG Heuer shield logo as the centerpiece of the bidirectional rotor.
The second tourbillon model is housed in an 18K 5N solid pink gold and titanium case, with a matching 18K 5N pink gold bezel, lending it a refined and luxurious aesthetic.

The dial design of the Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport series has been updated from the previous Porsche edition, with enhanced contrasts to improve legibility. The dial layout includes three counters: a black 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o’clock, a small seconds sub-dial with a date window at 6 o’clock, and a black 12-hour chronograph counter at 9 o’clock.
The chronograph counters are also hollowed out, with markings printed on the inner ring of each sub-dial. In the tourbillon models, the tourbillon takes the place of the date window at 6 o’clock, offering an eye-catching display of mechanical mastery.
All watches in this collection are powered by TAG Heuer’s in-house automatic movements. The chronographs are driven by the Calibre TH20-00, while the tourbillon editions are equipped with the Calibre TH20-09. Both movements feature a column wheel and a vertical clutch, operate at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), and offer an impressive 80-hour power reserve.
The three chronograph models in grade-2 titanium with ceramic bezels are available in blue or orange (CHF 8,000 / AED 32,800) and black (CHF 8,200 / AED 33,600), each with integrated rubber straps. The fourth chronograph (CHF 12,000 / AED 49,200) features 18K 5N solid rose gold barrels and lugs. The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Extreme Sport models come in black (CHF 25,500 / AED 104,600) and 18K 5N rose gold (CHF 32,000 / AED 131,200).
