The German Brand First Mechanical Timepiece in Collaboration with the World Rally Championship
Stowa introduces its first mechanical wristwatch developed in collaboration with the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC). As the official Timekeeper and Watch Partner of the WRC, the traditional German watch manufacturer builds a bridge between classic watchmaking and the world of international motorsport, an arena where precision, reliability, and performance under extreme conditions are paramount.
The partnership between Stowa and the WRC unites German horological expertise with the raw fascination of rallying. Synonymous with dynamism, endurance, and competitive perfection, the World Rally Championship embodies values that also define every mechanical Stowa timepiece. These shared principles are clearly expressed in this new model: a robust and precise watch designed for enthusiasts who value technology, performance, and timeless design.

The World Rally Championship is the FIA’s premier rally series, bringing together high-performance cars and the world’s best drivers. Across 14 rallies, competitors battle for both drivers’ and manufacturers’ titles in some of the most demanding conditions in motorsport.
The watch features a 40 mm stainless steel case, sandblasted and finished with a black PVD coating. Measuring 11.25 mm in thickness and offering water resistance up to 100 meters, it combines durability with everyday wearability. A lug-to-lug length of 48.9 mm ensures a sporty presence on the wrist while maintaining excellent comfort. Scratch-resistant sapphire crystals protect the dial and provide a clear view of the movement.
The black dial draws inspiration from motorsport instrumentation, defined by clean structures and bold accents. The Stowa and WRC logos sit confidently side by side, while the pilot’s triangle and hands in signature WRC orange add dynamic contrast. Orange-glowing Super-LumiNova guarantees optimal legibility in low-light conditions, reminiscent of cockpit instruments during night stages. A date window at 6 o’clock, featuring a black disc with orange numerals, integrates seamlessly into the overall design.
Powering the watch is the proven Sellita SW200 automatic movement, available in either Basic or Top grade. Both versions feature a custom rotor adorned with the WRC logo. Measuring 25.6 mm in diameter and 4.6 mm in height, the movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and delivers a power reserve of approximately 38 hours.

The Stowa Flieger Verus Black Forest WRC is offered with either a black strap or a black or orange nylon stretch strap. Prices start at EUR 915 (approximately AED 3,985), depending on the movement finishing.
