Collaborating with the German car tuner ABT Sportsline
For nearly a century, Stowa has been crafting mechanical timepieces in the Black Forest town of Pforzheim, Germany. Best known for its robust pilot watches, like the Flieger Original and Flieger Verus Black Forest Lagoon, the brand also has a penchant for dressier models, such as the Antea Classic. This year, in a bold move, Stowa teams up with renowned German tuner and motorsport powerhouse ABT Sportsline to create a chronograph that embodies speed, precision, and German engineering excellence, the Chrono ABT 24H.
The watch features a robust 44mm stainless steel case with a 16mm thickness, finished in a matte bead-blast texture (a technique using small spherical particles) and fully coated in black DLC. It showcases openworked lugs and a sloped black bezel, while a screw-down sapphire crystal caseback ensures 100 meters of water resistance.
Inspired by design elements found in modern Lamborghinis, the matte black dial features a repeating Y-pattern and red chronograph accents for a motorsport vibe. The applied black hands and indices are filled with Super-LumiNova C3, emitting a green glow in low light. A recessed date window is placed discreetly at 6 o’clock, while the bold ABT 24H logo at the bottom of the dial links the watch to the legendary 24 hours race in Nürburgring.
The dial also marks the beginning of a new era. After 25 years of racing alongside Audi in the DTM, ABT Sportsline is shifting gears. From 2025, the German tuning powerhouse will partner with Lamborghini in a new long-term deal, signaling its next chapter in motorsport.

Powering the Chrono ABT 24H is the Sellita SW510 automatic chronograph movement, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) with a 48-hour power reserve. Based on the iconic Valjoux 7750 architecture, the movement is adorned with Côtes de Genève finishing, rhodium plating, and blued screws. Through the sapphire caseback, the signed rotor reveals both the Stowa and ABT logos, along with the individual number of the limited edition.
Completing the watch is a black rubber strap with a raised center section and a matching black DLC-coated pin buckle. Limited to just 50 individually numbered pieces, the Chrono ABT 24H is priced at EUR 3,490, approximately AED 15,100.
