Introducing Stefan Kudoke Unveils the Kudoke 2 SHH Special Edition

Independent watchmaker Stefan Kudoke has partnered with Sincere Fine Watches to unveil the Kudoke 2 SHH Edition, an exclusive creation celebrating 20 years of Kudoke’s independent watchmaking journey. Limited to just 20 pieces, this special edition honors two decades of German craftsmanship and artistry, reflecting the shared horological values between Kudoke and Sincere Fine Watches.

The SHH Edition pays homage to the KUDOKE 2, the timepiece that earned Stefan Kudoke the prestigious “Petite Aiguille” award at the 2019 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG)—a historic first for a German independent watchmaker. Building on that award-winning legacy, it becomes the first model in the KUDOKE 2 series to feature the brand’s signature “Flakes” dial, first introduced in the Kudoke 3.

The watch is housed in a fully polished stainless steel case that radiates classic elegance, complemented by a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides for exceptional legibility. A distinctive onion-shaped crown adds vintage character, while the screwed base and bezel ensure structural robustness. Measuring 39 mm in diameter and 10.70 mm in height, the case offers water resistance to 50 meters.

Making its debut in the KUDOKE 2 series, the SHH Edition’s “Flakes” dial is presented in a refined light golden hue. Meticulously hand-engraved by skilled artisans, each dial is formed through the gradual carving of tiny flakes across its surface, creating a textured landscape that dances with light and shimmers with brilliance at every subtle shift in movement.

At 12 o’clock, the rotating domed sky disc—an emblematic feature of the KUDOKE 2—adds a poetic touch. Driven by a dial-side modification of Kudoke’s in-house Kaliber 1, this 24-hour indication traces the arc of day and night through a hand-engraved and electroplated disc. The sunlit half glows in warm rose tones, while the starry night side shimmers in cool rhodium, with its moon, stars, and arrow marker illuminated by blue Super-LumiNova.

Encircling the dial and sky disc are rhodium-plated chapter rings, where Roman and Arabic numerals form a deliberate visual contrast. True to the HANDwerk collection’s design language, the Kudoke 2 SHH Edition features the signature infinity-shaped hour hand, flame-blued and enhanced with green Super-LumiNova for optimal legibility.

Powering the watch is Kudoke’s in-house Caliber 1-24H, a manually wound movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) with a 46-hour power reserve. Inspired by historic English pocket watches and refined through Kudoke’s mastery of skeletonisation, the movement is richly hand-finished, from polished edges to intricately engraved components, all visible through the sapphire caseback.

The timepiece is paired with a blue alligator-print bovine leather strap, secured by a stainless steel pin buckle. The Kudoke 2 SHH Edition is limited to just 20 pieces and is available exclusively at the Sincere Haute Horlogerie (SHH) boutique in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. It is priced at USD 17,100, approximately AED 62,900.
