Introducing Albishorn Unveils the Type 10 Officer
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
Adding a stunning purple hue to the One & Two Openworked Tourbillon collection
Speake Marin remains one of the most distinctive voices in independent Swiss watchmaking. Drawing on British horological heritage, the brand has developed a refined design language that combines hand craftsmanship, in-house manufacturing, and signature elements such as the Piccadilly-style case seen in many of its releases.
For the past six years, the One & Two Openworked Tourbillon collection has been growing to feature bold interpretations such as last year’s Ultra-Violet model. As part of its participation in Geneva Watch Days 2025, the maison expands the line with two new references, the Purple Hour Tourbillon, offered in 38 mm and 42 mm sizes.
Both versions are housed in grade 5 titanium cases measuring 12.35 mm in thickness. The cases feature polished and brushed surfaces, a grooved flared crown engraved with the brand’s logo, and a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment. A screw-down sapphire caseback reveals the intricate calibre within, while water resistance is rated at 30 metres.
The dial features a 3D composition in purple, created through a PVD coating, with a purple minutes flange and grey Super-LumiNova indices to mark five-minute intervals. At 1:30, the flying tourbillon is displayed beneath a topping tool-shaped bridge, its cage composed of 62 finely finished components. The hands are rhodium-plated and heart-shaped, lacquered in grey, and treated with luminous material that emits a blue glow. At 7:30, a power reserve indicator shows the remaining autonomy with a triangular pointer coated in Super-LumiNova, accented by red and grey dots.
Inside beats the in-house calibre SMA05, a self-winding movement with a fully integrated tungsten micro-rotor engraved with concentric circles. It operates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz) and delivers a 72-hour power reserve. The watch is paired with a purple calf leather strap embossed with a denim pattern and secured with a titanium folding clasp bearing the maison’s logo.
Produced in very small numbers, this model belongs to a limited production run, though it is not individually numbered. The 38 mm edition is priced at CHF 69,400 (approx. AED 316,250), while the 42 mm version retails for CHF 69,900 (approx. AED 318,500).
