Introducing Speake Marin Celebrates The Year of The Dragon, and unveils The Dragon

Speake-Marin is a Swiss watchmaking brand founded by English watchmaker Peter Speake-Marin.The company was established in 2002, and its timepieces are known for their distinctive design, high-quality craftsmanship, and attention to detail. The brand combines traditional watchmaking techniques with modern innovation, creating timepieces that appeal to both collectors and enthusiasts. 

As we usher in the Year of the Dragon, Speake Marin celebrates the event with the Dragon timepiece from Art Series Collection, which embodies the brands know-how in terms of engraving techniques and art design. The brand introduces 3 new references in a 42 mm titanium grade 5 case, with a slim thickness of 10.5 mm. The front and back sapphire crystals, treated with an anti-reflective coating, offer a crystal-clear view into the heart of this timepiece. 

The dial features a 3D golden dragon with a choice of gray, golden, or red lacquer background, and a small seconds counter at 1:30, with heart-shaped rhodium-plated hands. The 3D dragon not only pays homage to the Chinese Year of the Dragon but also serves as a symbol of strength and prosperity. 

Underneath the captivating exterior lies the Caliber SMA03, an automatic movement with a micro-rotor. This movement operates at 28,800 vph (4Hz), and offers 52 hours of power reserve. The watch comes with a black alligator bracelet, coupled with a titanium folding buckle, ensuring both comfort and elegance on the wrist, and each reference is limited to 18 pieces.
