The German Brand Celebrates the 10th Anniversary of Its Frankfurt Boutique
German brand Sinn presents the 1739 Römerberg, a special edition created to mark the 10th anniversary of its Römerberg branch. Since 2015, the company has been represented at the prestigious Rathausplatz in Frankfurt’s historic old town through the SINN Römerberg Branch.
Over the past decade, this location housed in the heritage-listed Haus zum Goldenen Rad, has become a popular destination for the brand's customers and a prominent showcase with a view of the Römer, Frankfurt’s iconic city hall.
The case has a diameter of 39 mm, a thickness of 9.1 mm, and a lug width of 20 mm. It is crafted from polished stainless steel, providing a sleek and durable structure.
The watch features a sapphire crystal glass on the front, which is anti-reflective on both sides for enhanced clarity. The case back is securely screw-fastened, ensuring both durability and precision. The watch meets the technical water-resistance requirements outlined in standard DIN 8310, offering water and pressure resistance up to 100 meters. Weighing just 52 grams without the strap, it is also low-pressure resistant, adding to its robustness.
This model features a radiant crimson red dial, a color carefully chosen to reflect the elaborately restored façade of the Haus zum Goldenen Rad, constructed from red Main sandstone, a traditional and distinctive building material of the Rhine-Main region. Hand-applied indices, along with the hands and Sinn logo in a golden hue, add a luxurious touch to the vibrant dial.
Under the sapphire crystal case back, the automatic movement caliber SW300-1 from Sellita, beats at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offers a power reserve of 42 hours.
The Sinn 1739 Römerberg Limited Edition is presented in a double case and comes with a burgundy-coloured Alcantara strap and a black calfskin leather strap. The set also includes a folding clasp, strap-replacement tool, and spare spring bars.
Limited to just 100 pieces, it is priced at EUR 2,150, approximately AED 8,880.
