A Distinctive Dive Watch with a Case Reinforced by Tegiment Technology
Sinn Spezialuhren, the German brand renowned for its robust tool watches, has long been associated with the EZM series. The acronym stands for Einsatz-Zeitmesser, which translates from German as “Mission Timer.” The first EZM model appeared in 1997 with the EZM 1, a chronograph created for Germany’s border protection unit.
For 2025, Sinn expands the collection with the launch of the EZM 3 S, a fully blacked-out version of its classic EZM 3 dive watch. This new release builds upon the blueprint of the original stainless steel model, now enhanced with the brand’s proprietary Tegiment surface-hardening technology and a matte black DLC coating for added durability and a stealth aesthetic.
Crafted from bead-blasted stainless steel, the 41mm case of the EZM 3 S measures 12.3mm thick and weighs just 81 grams (excluding strap or bracelet). A flat sapphire crystal is set within its fully demarcated unidirectional timing bezel, which operates with a precise ratcheting action.
To ensure its impressive 500-meter water resistance, the watch features screw-down connections for both the crown and caseback, which is made from nickel-free steel. The depth rating has been tested according to European diving equipment standards and certified by an independent institute.
As with the original EZM 3, the new model integrates several of Sinn’s hallmark technologies. It is equipped with an antimagnetic shield, temperature-resistant lubricants that guarantee functionality from –45 °C to +80 °C, and the brand’s proprietary Ar-Dehumidifying Technology. This system includes EDR gaskets, a protective gas filling to eliminate moisture during assembly, and a copper sulphate drying capsule integrated into the case to absorb humidity and prevent fogging.
The dial design emphasizes clarity and functionality. The matte black surface is contrasted by crisp white markings, with non-essential text and the numerals of the discreet 3:30 date display rendered in red for subtle differentiation. The hands, indices, and bezel’s zero marker are coated with luminous material, ensuring strong legibility with a green glow in low-light conditions.
At its core, the EZM 3 S is powered by the Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, running at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offering a power reserve of approximately 38 hours.
Sinn delivers the EZM 3 S with multiple wearing options: a black rubber strap, two-piece fabric straps in black or gray, or a matching H-link bracelet in Tegimented stainless steel with black DLC coating.

For the prices EURO 2,820 which is equivalent approximately to 12,175 AED (bracelet) EURO 2,190 which is equivalent approximately to 9,500 AED (strap)
