A new blue colorway for one of Germany’s most capable dive watches
Sinn has built its reputation on precision engineering, practicality, and reliability, producing some of the most robust tool watches in German watchmaking. Among its most celebrated creations is the U50 collection, a series that combines professional diving performance with the minimalist aesthetic that defines Sinn. In its latest addition, the brand introduces the U50 B, continuing this philosophy with a fresh matt-blue dial.
The watch features a bead-blasted case crafted from high-strength, seawater-resistant German Submarine Steel, a material prized for its exceptional resistance to corrosion and magnetic interference. Measuring 41 mm in diameter and 11.15 mm in thickness, the case maintains a compact and balanced profile ideal for both diving and everyday wear. It is fitted with a sapphire crystal featuring anti-reflective coating on both sides and a unidirectional captive diver’s bezel. The bezel also benefits from Sinn’s Tegiment Technology, which significantly enhances scratch resistance. The crown is positioned at 4 o’clock for optimal comfort.
The screw-fastened caseback ensures durability and protection under pressure. The U50 B is certified by an independent institute for diving performance and is water-resistant to 500 meters. It also meets low-pressure resistance standards, guaranteeing reliability in a wide range of environments.
The matt-blue dial features bold white hands and indices coated with green-glow luminescent material, ensuring excellent readability. A date window is neatly positioned at 3 o’clock.

Inside the watch beats the automatic SW300-1 caliber, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph and offering a 42-hour power reserve. It includes a stop-seconds function and provides anti-magnetic protection in accordance with DIN 8309 standards.
