Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch

The Swiss brand’s first time-only watch
Singer Reimagined has established its reputation as a watchmaker with bold chronographs inspired by vintage motorsport culture and the iconic design of the Porsche 911. Since 2017, the brand has expanded its catalogue from the Singer Reimagined 1969 to the recently launched Heritage Collection. This year, the maison ventures into a new category with the Caballero, its first time-only watch.
The Caballero comes in a stainless steel case measuring 39 mm in diameter and 10.5 mm in thickness. Its profile combines a brushed mid-case, polished chamfers, and a fluted bezel that recalls classical design codes. A domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment softens the silhouette while ensuring legibility. Balancing vintage inspiration with modern proportions, the watch draws on design cues from the 1960s and 1970s. A sapphire caseback reveals the movement, and the case offers water resistance up to 50 metres.

The dial is available in lacquered Piano Black, Empire Green, or Petrol Blue. A golden fluted flange frames the display, while rhodium-plated hands filled with orange Super-LumiNova ensure clarity in all conditions. The absence of conventional indices shifts the focus to the mechanics, where four jewel apertures punctuate the dial to reveal the pivots of the barrels beneath.
At its core lies the Calibre-4 Solotempo, Singer’s first proprietary movement. This manually wound calibre features four barrels arranged in parallel, delivering a six-day (144-hour) power reserve with constant torque and operating at 28,800 vph (4 Hz). Its finishing includes rhodium-plated bridges with micro-blasted textures and polished chamfers, reflecting meticulous attention to detail.

The watch is offered with a choice of straps in blue-grained leather, khaki textile, or black textile, each tapering to a stainless steel pin buckle engraved with the brand’s logo. While not a numbered limited edition, the Caballero will be produced in small quantities. The watch is priced at CHF 17,500, approximately AED 80,000.
