Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A limited edition that elevates the signature dial with Thai numerals
Serica is based in Paris, building a watch brand around the spirit of travel and exploration. The company draws inspiration from vintage military instruments while refining them with contemporary proportions and chronometer-grade mechanics.

Among the brand’s core creations is the Ref. 6190 collection. Conceived as Serica’s interpretation of a field chronometer, it combines compact dimensions with robust performance and a dial design that has become one of the brand’s most recognizable signatures. With the introduction of the new Ref. 6190 TDM, Serica revisits this familiar platform and introduces Thai numerals, replacing the traditional Arabic numerals on the lower half of the California dial.

The watch features a 38 mm case with a thickness of 10.4 mm, crafted from stainless steel. Its architecture reflects the utilitarian feel that defines the collection, with twisted lugs, a vertically brushed bezel, and a broad crown that reinforces the watch’s practical character. Turning the watch over reveals a screwed caseback, helping to secure a water resistance of 200 meters.

The dial is executed in black with an enamel-like finish. It preserves the distinctive California-style layout that defines the Ref. 6190, mixing different types of hour markers. The upper half carries Roman numerals, while the lower half introduces Thai numerals. The dial features a broad arrow hour hand, an obelisk-shaped minute hand, and a central seconds hand, all filled with luminous material. The numerals and markers are rendered in high-domed Super-LumiNova, giving the dial both depth and excellent night-time visibility.

Inside the watch beats the Soprod M100 automatic movement, a chronometer-certified calibre chosen for its reliability and precision. The movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and delivers a power reserve of 42 hours. The watch is paired with Serica’s distinctive Bonklip stainless steel bracelet and is produced as a limited edition of 100 pieces, created specifically for the Thai domestic market at a price of €1,190, approximately AED 5,100.
