An exclusive release for the brand’s retail partner, inspired by the world of skiing
Seiko announces the launch of two new Seiko 5 Sports creations inspired by the exhilarating world of winter sports, namely skiing and snowboarding. Developed in collaboration with Thong Sia Group (TSG)—the brand’s exclusive retail partner in Singapore, Hong Kong, and several key Asian markets—these limited editions introduce unconventional purple and brown colourways to the familiar “5KX” platform. The result is a fresh visual identity that combines the line’s accessible pricing and diver-inspired design with hues drawn from professional winter sports equipment.
The two models showcase distinctive purple and warm brown colour schemes that align seamlessly with contemporary winter fashion and technical sports gear. Carefully executed, the designs pay tribute to the dynamic spirit of winter sports while preserving the robustness and reliability that define the Seiko 5 Sports collection.
Housed in 42.5mm stainless-steel cases, the watches offer a comfortable presence on the wrist. With a thickness of 12.1mm, they feature a slightly domed Hardlex crystal—Seiko’s proprietary tempered glass—framed by a bidirectional bezel colour-matched to the dial. Water-resistant to 100 metres, both models are well suited for snow sports, complemented by a screw-down exhibition case back and a well-protected push-pull crown.
The purple and brown dials capture the essence of professional winter sports equipment while making a confident style statement. Echoing the colour palettes found in modern snow sports apparel, the dials are further enhanced by angular indices that recall the aesthetics of contemporary protective gear. This thoughtful integration of sports-inspired elements and urban design allows the watches to transition effortlessly from alpine environments to everyday city wear.

Brilliant white hands and indices are generously treated with Lumibrite, ensuring excellent legibility in all lighting conditions while adding a crisp contrast to the richly coloured dials. The result is a vibrant yet highly functional display.
Powering the watches is the Seiko Caliber 4R36 automatic movement, a proven and reliable workhorse within the brand’s lineup. It operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour and delivers a power reserve of approximately 41 hours, while offering both hacking seconds and manual winding for added precision and practicality.

The watches are fitted with an Oyster-style stainless-steel bracelet, secured by a fold-over safety clasp with a twin-trigger release, reinforcing their sporty and robust character.
The new Seiko 5 Sports Thong Sia Exclusive models will be available from December 2025 at Seiko Boutiques and selected retailers across Thong Sia exclusive regions, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, and Brunei. Each version is limited to 1,000 pieces and priced at USD 367, approximately AED 1,350.
