Introducing Schwarz Etienne Unveils the Geometry Watch in a New Color

A cherry red hue highlights the beauty of the geometric dial and its intricate design

Luxury watches represent a seamless fusion of art and engineering, where traditional craftsmanship converges with modern innovation. Within this distinguished industry, Schwarz Etienne emerges as a remarkable exemplar of precision and exquisite design. Established in Switzerland in 1902, the brand has consistently crafted timepieces that harmonize mechanical complexity with timeless elegance. Each watch reflects a rich heritage of exceptional craftsmanship. Schwarz Etienne has introduced several collections, each narrating a unique story and embodying distinct qualities. Among them, the *Roma* collection previously featured the “Synergy” watch, developed in collaboration with esteemed Finnish watchmaker Kari Voutilainen, meeting the highest standards of precision. Now, the brand unveils a new engineering marvel from the same collection: the “Geometry Cherry” watch.

The timepiece features a polished stainless steel case that measures 39mm in diameter and 11mm in thickness. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial and movement, both of which can be viewed through the case back. It is water-resistant up to 50 meters.

Designed by Eric Giraud and crafted from polished 18K solid gold, the dial is divided into four quarters, each displaying a vibrant cherry red hue complemented by intricate hand-painted decorative patterns that vary in depth and texture. Enhanced by a range of finishes, including guilloché, lapis lazuli, and Clous de Paris, the dial creates a dynamic visual effect, accentuated by black sandblasted areas featuring minute markers. A small black seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock, marked with white indices, anchors the design, while rhodium-treated brass hour and minute hands hover gracefully in the center.

The watch is powered by an in-house automatic movement, caliber ASE 200.02, which incorporates a micro-rotor that sits flush with the bridges, allowing for a sleek profile of the meticulously finished components. This movement operates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz) and offers an 86-hour power reserve. The main plate and bridges are crafted from grey brass, treated with PVD, and adorned with rhodium-plated angles.

The timepiece is paired with a black leather strap, complemented by a brown leather lining for an extra touch of luxury, and is secured with a stainless steel folding buckle featuring the Schwarz Etienne logo. Priced at CHF 25,450 (AED 112,000).
