Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch

Crafted in titanium and carbon, featuring a new skeletonized movement with a micro-rotor
In 2011, Richard Mille launched the RM 33 collection, which stood out with its round shape, an unusual design choice for the brand, known primarily for its signature tonneau-shaped cases. However, it wasn't the only round model in the brand's lineup, the RM 032 also existed. That said, the brand bid farewell to this diving icon last year, ending the collection with the RM 032 Flyback Chronograph Ultimate Edition.
Now, with the new RM 33-03, the brand carries on with the rounded shaped case, and this sporty timepiece available in two distinct versions, one in Grade 5 titanium and the other in Carbon TPT paired with 5N red gold. Both share the same proportions, measuring 41.7 mm in diameter and just 9.7 mm thick. The signature tripartite case, combining polished and brushed finishes, is assembled using Richard Mille’s proprietary titanium spline screws. It features a notched bezel and a sculptural construction held together by large, visible screws.

The skeletonized dial showcases 18K 5N red gold numerals mounted on titanium rails. A small seconds counter is positioned at 6 o’clock, while a suspended black PVD date disc appears at 5 o’clock. Beneath it all lies the newly developed RMXP3 automatic movement. This skeletonized calibre measures only 3.28 mm thick and is built on a Grade 5 titanium baseplate and bridges, reinforced with black PVD and Titalyt coatings, an electrochemical surface treatment that enhances the hardness and corrosion resistance of titanium.
The movement operates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz), offers a 40-hour power reserve, and features a standout off-center micro-rotor in solid platinum that is bidirectional and ultra-efficient.
The strap integrates seamlessly into the case, maintaining the watch’s dynamic flow. It comes equipped with a Grade 5 titanium folding buckle. The RM 33-03 in titanium is priced at CHF 115,000 (approximately AED 525,000), while the Carbon TPT and red gold version is priced at CHF 145,000 (approximately AED 662,000).
