Introducing Albishorn Unveils the Type 10 Officer
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A distinctive edition featuring technology that simplifies reading the time
The Ressence Type 1 collection embodies the brand’s core philosophy of simplifying mechanical watchmaking while enhancing functional clarity. Defined by its crownless architecture, orbital time display, and fluid ergonomics, the Type 1 line utilizes the patented ROCS (Ressence Orbital Convex System) to present time through rotating discs rather than traditional hands. This approach delivers immediate legibility, a continuous sense of motion, and a uniquely intuitive reading experience.
During its participation in Dubai Watch Week 2025, Ressence expands this signature collection with the debut of the “Type 1 Round Rose Gold”, the latest evolution of the line and a new interpretation of its modern minimalism.
The case of the Type 1 Round Rose Gold is engineered for practicality and comfort, crafted from Grade 5 titanium to ensure a lightweight yet highly durable structure. It is topped with a double-domed sapphire crystal featuring an internal anti-reflective coating that enhances legibility while preserving the purity of the dial’s orbital display. The watch is operated through a 12° manual-winding and setting lever, maintaining the collection’s crownless ergonomics. Measuring 42.7 mm in diameter and 11 mm in thickness, the case offers a balanced wrist presence suited for daily wear, and is rated to 10m.
The dial of the watch is a fully convex 4N rose-gold–plated German silver surface that delivers a warm, soft luminescence and highlights the organic character of the watch. It replaces traditional hands with three eccentric, biaxial satellite discs, inclined at 3° for the hours and 4.75° for the seconds and day of the week, each guilloché-finished to create subtle visual depth. The central minutes are indicated via a rotating hand integrated within the orbital display. All indications are engraved and filled with Grade A Super-LumiNova, ensuring clarity in all lighting conditions, while the sunray-brushed dial, paired with a sandblasted case ring and bezel, enhances contrast and reinforces the refined, contemporary aesthetic of this rose-gold edition.
The watch is powered by the patented ROCS 1.3 (Ressence Orbital Convex System), a proprietary display module driven directly by the minute axle of a customized ETA 2892 base calibre. This architecture enables the orbital motion of the dial’s discs while maintaining mechanical efficiency and long-term reliability. The watch is self-winding, offering a 36-hour power reserve and operating at 28,800 vph.
It comes with a kudu leather strap and an ardillon buckle, and is offered as a limited edition of 70 pieces, priced at CHF 18,150, which is equivalent to AED 83,000 approximately.
