Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch

Three elegant dress watches with refined tuxedo-inspired dials
In 2023, Raymond Weil introduced the Millesime collection. Designed entirely from the ground up, it distilled classical watchmaking cues into a modern framework, combining sector-dial layouts, carefully judged case dimensions, and a calm, architectural aesthetic.

The Millesime Small Seconds sits at the heart of that identity. For this year, the model is expanded with a trio of new dial executions inspired by the visual language of tuxedo dials, using colour contrast and balance to introduce a fresh chapter within the collection.

The case is crafted from stainless steel and features a refined interplay of brushed surfaces and polished accents, giving the watch a clean yet expressive profile. It measures 39 mm in diameter with a thickness of 10.25 mm, proportions that remain deliberately balanced and allow the design to retain its dress-watch character. Turning the watch over reveals a snap-on caseback fitted with a sapphire crystal, offering a clear view of the automatic movement within. Water resistance is rated at 50 metres.
The dial is offered in three two-tone sector configurations, each built around a central colour field contrasted by a distinct hour ring. One version pairs a cream centre with a black outer ring, another combines deep midnight blue with black, while the third introduces a more expressive red grape tone set against a white-coloured hour track.

Time is indicated by brushed obelisk-style hour and minute hands treated with luminous material, complemented by luminous Arabic numerals that replace the baton indices seen on earlier executions. The small seconds display remains positioned at 6 o’clock, framed by a railroad-style track that reinforces the dial’s Art Deco-inspired geometry.

Powering the watch is the automatic calibre RW4251, derived from the Sellita SW261-1. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and delivers a power reserve of 41 hours. Each reference is paired with a genuine calf leather strap finished with tone-on-tone stitching and secured by a traditional pin buckle.
