A new addition to the Turbine collection with a beautiful spiral motif
Perrelet is renowned for its groundbreaking Turbine Technology, unique to the brand since it was first seen in 2009. Over the years, we've witnessed a remarkable array of timepieces from the Turbine collection that have captivated both watch enthusiasts and collectors alike. Today, the brand is extending this iconic collection with the introduction of the Turbine Hypnotic, reaffirming its commitment to innovation and creativity in watchmaking.
The inspiration for the new "Turbine Hypnotic" stems from the Turbine Paranoia, a special edition introduced in 2012. This edition featured turbine blades adorned with a spiral motif in Super-LumiNova, while the lower dial maintained a monochrome appearance. Taking it a step further, the new "Turbine Hypnotic" not only incorporates the spiral motif in Super-LumiNova with green light emission on the blades but also extends it to the lower dial. As the turbine rotates, these two spirals intertwine, forming unexpected geometric patterns reminiscent of an ever-changing, luminous kaleidoscope.
The case of the watch is crafted from stainless steel and coated with black PVD, featuring a distinctive fluted case band and a flat bezel. It is equipped with a sapphire crystal boasting double anti-reflective coating for enhanced clarity. Notably, the case incorporates triple lugs and the crown is elegantly adorned with the brand's logo. Completing the design is a sapphire case back, allowing a glimpse into the intricate mechanics within. With a diameter of 44 mm and a height of 13.82 mm, this timepiece offers a robust presence on the wrist.
