The French Maison Debuts Its First Diamond-Set Watch in the Iconic Collection
French luxury watch brand Pequignet expands its emblematic Royale Paris collection with the introduction of the Royale Paris 36 mm Sertie, a gem-set steel version. For the first time in a gem-set iteration, this exquisite interpretation of the Royale Paris is available exclusively with a burgundy dial and adorned with 78 diamonds totaling 0.312 carats.
The 36 mm stainless steel case features a bezel set with these 78 diamonds, giving the Royale Paris a fresh, luminous appearance. With a slender thickness of 8.95 mm, the Royale Paris 36 mm is the thinnest model in the collection. Its attached lugs—a signature design element of the collection, have been refined, with a brushed finish on the top and polished sides. The sculpted case profile is defined by a concave "gouge" shape that runs along the dial’s perimeter. The thinner bezel, offering a wide opening, enhances the dial’s visual presence, while the slightly domed sapphire "glass box," treated with anti-reflective coating, contributes to the watch’s overall elegance.
The Royale Paris 36 mm three-hands version presents a sunray dial with a sanded "gouge," creating a delicate, sophisticated harmony. Beveled, satin-finished, and polished baton indexes reflect the brand’s meticulous attention to detail.

Powering the new Royale Paris 36 mm Diamond-set watch is PEQUIGNET’s in-house Initial Caliber. This movement features a large central seconds hand, a 65-hour power reserve, and is entirely designed, developed, and hand-assembled at the Manufacture’s workshops in Morteau, France. Regulated in six positions with a tolerance of -4 to +6 seconds per day, it guarantees exceptional accuracy.
Measuring 28.2 mm in diameter and 4.2 mm in total thickness, the Calibre Initial® is distinguished by its central seconds hand and uniquely shaped winding gear teeth, which improve efficiency and reduce component wear.
The Royale Paris 36 mm comes with a black velour rubber leather interchangeable strap, secured by a one-link stainless steel folding buckle engraved with the “fleur-de-lys” logo. It is priced at EUR 4,900, equivalent to 21,300 AED.
