Introducing Pequignet Unveils the Attitude Tiger’s Eye

Pequignet stands as one of the few French brands that fully designs and manufactures its movements in France, a philosophy that has shaped its identity for decades. This spirit carries into the Attitude collection, a line introduced in 2021 with an emphasis on elegant simplicity and versatile proportions. In its latest additions to this collection, the brand is launching the Attitude Tiger’s Eye, a model that brings the natural beauty of gemstone dials into the heart of the collection.

The watch is offered in two variations, both featuring a compact 39 mm case with a slim 9.20 mm profile. The 316L stainless steel version has a polished case, while the other model is crafted entirely from solid 18 carat 5N rose gold. Each watch includes a domed sapphire crystal with anti reflective treatment and a crown adorned with the maison’s fleur de lys emblem. A screwed sapphire caseback reveals the movement inside. Both versions are water resistant to 50 meters.

The dial is carved from natural Tiger’s Eye, a gemstone known for its golden and brown tones and shimmering optical effect. The surface shifts with the light, giving each piece a unique presence. Pequignet keeps the display intentionally clean to let the stone dominate the composition. The gold finished hands are rounded and polished, and the gold toned indices add a refined contrast.

Powering the watch is the Calibre Initial, the manufacture’s third in-house movement. It is automatic and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz), and delivers a 65 hour power reserve. The movement is visible through the caseback and features an openworked rotor decorated with snailing and the embossed fleur de lys.

Both models come with alligator leather straps crafted by Maison Jean Rousseau. The steel version is paired with a light grey cashmere alligator strap with red lining, while the rose gold model features a rosewood colored cashmere alligator strap with grey lining. Each strap is fitted with a matching ardillon buckle.

The stainless steel model is limited to 50 pieces and priced at EUR 3,500, approximately AED 14,900, while the rose gold version is limited to only 5 pieces and priced at EUR 10,900, approximately AED 46,300.
