The Purest Form of Simplicity, A Guilloché Dial Displaying Time Only
After Parmigiani Fleurier introduced the Skeleton Tonda PF in platinum, with the astonishing dial design featuring only time display, they now unveil a captivating addition to their Tonda PF Micro-Rotor collection: the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor No Date. Continuing their tradition of exquisite craftsmanship, the company has once again adorned the dial with special touches, this time showcasing a Grain d’Orge Golden Siena guilloché pattern.
Guido Terreni, CEO of Parmigiani Fleurier, elaborates: “Every aspect of this timepiece embodies our vision of understated and timeless refinement. From the deliberate absence of visual complications to the meticulous selection of 'Golden Siena' dial nuances, each decision reflects an unwavering dedication to aesthetic purity.”
The latest iteration of the Tonda PF doesn't stray far from its original 2021 counterpart. Its round stainless steel case maintains a 40mm diameter and a slim 7.8mm thickness. The platinum bezel showcases a knurled design, complemented by a mirror-polished finish throughout the rest of the case.
The refined lugs exhibit a brushed satin finish on the sides and a high-polished finish on the top when viewed from the side. This brushed and polished motif extends seamlessly to the bracelet, harmonizing perfectly with the case's design and finish. Protecting the dial is an ARunic anti-reflective sapphire, while the caseback boasts a sapphire glass window. With a water resistance rating of 100m.
The new Tonda PF Micro-Rotor No Date boasts a gentle Golden Siena dial adorned with a 'Grain d'Orge' barley-grain guilloché finish. Each intricate detail, including the delicate rhodium-plated hour markers, has been meticulously applied by hand. These markers elegantly encircle the main dial before seamlessly transitioning into the slightly recessed minute track.
Crafted from 18K gold, the delta-shaped hour and minute hands feature partial skeletonization and a rhodium plating, adding a touch of sophistication to the timepiece. With the omission of the date window, the dial's sole additional feature is the Parmigiani Fleurier logo, tastefully positioned at the 12 o'clock mark.
The Tonda PF Micro-Rotor No Date edition is driven by the automatic movement PF703. Impressively slender at a mere 3.07mm, this movement boasts a platinum 950 micro rotor. Operating at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations/hour, the Calibre PF703 offers a substantial 48-hour power reserve.
Much like the dial, the micro-rotor is embellished with a barley-grain pattern and the brand's logo at its center. Additionally, the bridges feature a Côtes de Genève finish, while the mainplate is generously adorned with perlage.
The watch comes with an integrated stainless steel bracelet Polished and satin-finished with a stainless steel folding clasp. and priced at CHF 23,500 which is equivalent to 95,000 AED.
