Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch

A collaboration with the University of Texas blending art and engineering
Parmigiani Fleurier has partnered with The Forty First Foundation to unveil a highly exclusive series of timepieces. The Tonda PF Sport Chronograph Longhorn Limited Edition pays tribute to the legacy and enduring spirit of The University of Texas at Austin. This collaboration yields two distinct models, one in stainless steel and the other in rose gold, both featuring subtle yet unmistakable nods to the celebrated Texas Longhorns.
Equally iconic is the university’s official color, Burnt Orange, a distinctive hue that evokes the Texan landscape and symbolizes the school’s pride and athletic excellence. These defining emblems serve as the creative foundation for the limited-edition timepieces.
Driving the philanthropic aspect of this collaboration is The Forty First Foundation. Named after the “41st Acre,” the symbolic heart of the UT Austin campus where the iconic UT Tower stands, the foundation’s mission is to advance the university’s pursuit of excellence by funding key initiatives. Proceeds from the sale of the Longhorn chronographs will directly benefit student-focused programs, including campus food banks and pantries, as well as arts and community initiatives throughout Austin, making each watch a meaningful contribution to the university’s future.
The Tonda PF Sport Chronograph Longhorn is offered in two material options, rose gold or stainless steel, while maintaining the proportions and design language of the collection.
The 42mm case, with a thickness of 12.9mm, features a sophisticated mix of satin brushing and polished accents, preserving the signature Tonda aesthetic complete with the iconic knurled bezel. Combined with a screw-down crown, the case ensures water resistance up to 100 meters. At the 9 o’clock position, a discreet engraving of the Texas Longhorn logo serves as a refined tribute to the university’s pride.
The dial presents a silvery hue adorned with a clou triangulaire guilloché pattern. Three dark grey sub-dials complement the brushed peripheral minute track, while hand-applied gold indices filled with orange Super-LumiNova pair beautifully with openworked, delta-shaped hour and minute hands tipped with luminescent material for optimal legibility. The hands and indices are crafted in gold and rhodium-plated, and a date window positioned at 4:30 features a white background with orange numerals.
Visible through the sapphire case back is the automatic caliber PF070, the same high-performance movement used in previous editions. Entirely developed and manufactured in-house, this COSC-certified integrated chronograph operates at a frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour (5 Hz) and delivers a 65-hour power reserve.
The movement’s architecture is highlighted by satin-finished, openworked bridges with hand-beveled edges, and a stunning 22-carat rose gold oscillating weight that is skeletonized, polished, and sandblasted for a refined finish.

Both versions are fitted with integrated bracelets that flow seamlessly from the lugs. Parmigiani Fleurier also includes two additional hand-stitched rubber straps with each watch, offered in exclusive colors for this Longhorn edition: Tufo (a neutral beige tone) and Burnt Orange. The steel model features a stainless steel folding clasp, while the rose gold version is equipped with a matching 18-karat rose gold clasp.
The Tonda PF Sport Chronograph Longhorn is limited to 40 pieces in stainless steel and 10 pieces in rose gold.
This special edition will be available for order exclusively through The Forty First Foundation, with pricing available upon request. Deliveries are set to begin on November 28, 2025, a date of symbolic significance, the day of the much-anticipated football game between the University of Texas and their historic rivals, the Texas A&M Aggies.
