PAM01729 Bronze and PAM01730 Platinumtech to Celebrate the Florence Boutique’s 100th Anniversary
To mark the 100th anniversary of its historic boutique in Piazza San Giovanni, Florence, Panerai introduces the limited edition Radiomir Viaggio Nel Tempo Experience Set, comprising the PAM01729 and PAM01730. This marks the first time the Maison pairs a watch set with one of its curated Experiences.

Purchasing the set secures a place on the journey organized by the brand, taking place from 15 to 18 September 2026, beginning in Florence—the birthplace of Panerai. The experience will start with an invitation to the 100th-anniversary celebration and exhibition in Florence, followed by additional exclusive Panerai experiences.
The PAM01729 combines two historically significant Panerai elements: a California dial, featuring a mix of Roman and Arabic numerals, and a 47 mm bronze case. The special bronze alloy is designed to develop a unique patina over time, reflecting the wearer’s life—a concept central to the Experience.
Additional design highlights include blue polished steel hands, a domed plexiglass crystal, and beige Super-LumiNova, which glows green in the dark.

Its vintage appeal is reinforced by slim wire lugs and a cone-shaped crown, signature details of Panerai’s dive watches from the mid-1930s and 1940s.
The open titanium case back with sapphire crystal reveals the P.3000 calibre, a manually wound movement. Its large 11.7 mm balance wheel operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour, ensuring precision and stability, a concept explored in our recent article on movement frequency.

The movement comprises 161 components and measures 37.2 mm in diameter. Drawing inspiration from Panerai’s archival movements of the 1960s, the open bridges reveal the intricate mechanics. With two barrels, the calibre delivers a three-day power reserve.
The watch is paired with a dark brown rolled leather strap featuring a flat, understated vintage construction, and a bronze pin buckle with a trapezoidal shape, paying homage to historic Panerai models.

The second piece, PAM01730, features Platinumtech, a special alloy composed of 95% pure platinum. Panerai states that this alloy, thanks to a unique treatment process, is 85% harder than conventional platinum, has higher scratch resistance, and is approximately 33% heavier than 18-carat gold.
For the first time, this model introduces a black sunray dial with sandwich construction. The hand-applied circular polishing creates a concentric pattern, while the “Radiomir Panerai” lettering is engraved tone-on-tone directly into the dial, lending it a discreet, almost mysterious character.
The watch is powered by the hand-wound P.3001/10 calibre, with skeletonized, finely decorated bridges. The power reserve indicator is positioned on the case back to maintain the dial’s clarity.
Its understated elegance is completed with a dark brown alligator strap and a polished white gold trapezoidal buckle.
The Radiomir Viaggio Nel Tempo Experience Set will be available from June 2026 in a limited edition of 30 sets, delivered in a mahogany presentation box. The set will require an application process, with allocations made by Panerai. The price is EUR 145,000 (approximately 627,330 AED).
