Introducing Oris Unveils The Divers Sixty-Five LFP Limited Edition

Collaborating with France’s Ligue de Football Professionnel and CNAPE children’s charity

Oris has built a strong reputation for creating watches with a purpose-driven philosophy. Known for its commitment to environmental and social causes, Oris regularly collaborates with organizations under the "Change for the Better" title. One standout partnership is with the Reef Restoration Foundation, highlighting the brand's dedication to ocean conservation.

Now, Oris has turned its focus to another meaningful cause, collaborating with France’s Ligue de Football Professionnel and the French association of children’s charities CNAPE. For those who may not be aware, Oris has served as the official timekeeper for the LFP since 2022. This partnership has led to the joyful creation of the new Divers Sixty-Five LFP Limited Edition, a vibrant watch designed to celebrate football and support children's well-being and as a part of its participation in Geneva Watch Days 2024.

This special project brings together Oris, the LFP, and its charity partner CNAPE (France’s National Convention of Child Protection Associations). Their collaboration has led to the creation of a new watch that celebrates the "Tournoi des Défenseurs de l’Enfance," which translates to "Defenders of Childhood Tournament." This annual football event offers children a memorable experience while raising funds for associations supported by CNAPE. Additionally, Oris, the LFP, and CNAPE will co-host a series of raffles on the HelloAsso platform, where ticket buyers can win one of 10 watches donated by Oris, as well as exclusive LFP products and packages. All proceeds will go directly to CNAPE.

As for the watch specifications, it is based on Oris' Divers Sixty-Five collection. So the watch features a multi-piece 38 mm stainless steel case with a unidirectional rotating bezel. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal, and the screw-down case back is engraved with "Les Défenseurs de l’Enfance" and the limited edition number out of 1,000. A screw-in crown ensures water resistance up to 100 meters.

The dark blue dial introduces a notable first for Oris, as the brand has replaced its standard logo and text with a script style, inspired by the LFP’s mission for change. Additionally, the phrase "water resistant," along with the 10 bar / 100 meters rating, is written in the same script and in a rainbow of colors, reflecting the logo of CNAPE’s children's football tournament. The hands and indices are coated with Super-LumiNova for enhanced visibility, and there is a date window at 6 o’clock.

The watch is powered by the Oris 733 caliber, an automatic movement that operates at 28,800 vph (4Hz) and offers a 41-hour power reserve. It comes with a multi-piece stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp and is priced at CHF 2,500, equivalent to AED 11,000.
