Four new ceramic creations join the brand’s iconic chronograph collection
OMEGA unveils four new models, each showcasing the brand’s mastery of advanced ceramic engineering and precision finishing. The collection reflects years of technical refinement in both case construction and movement development.
Building on the legacy of the Dark Side of the Moon concept launched first Twelve years ago, Omega introduces four striking new editions that pay tribute to the Apollo 8 mission and astronaut Jim Lovell’s iconic observations of the Moon.
The lineup includes the Dark Side of the Moon “Black Black,” “Dark Red,” “Dark White,” and the Apollo 8-inspired Grey Side of the Moon, all now featuring slimmer cases and Master Chronometer-certified movements. Each model measures 44.25 mm in diameter.

Speedmaster Grey Side of the Moon
Following last year’s black and yellow Apollo 8 special edition, Omega introduces a sleeker interpretation of the iconic chronograph, the Speedmaster Grey Side of the Moon. This new version adopts a full monochromatic aesthetic, reducing the visual accents and space-related references, while emphasizing refined elegance.
The watch features a 44.25 mm case with a height of 12.97 mm, crafted from polished and brushed grey ceramic, complemented by a brushed ceramic bezel with a laser-engraved tachymeter scale filled with Super-LumiNova.
The grey tone pays tribute to astronaut Jim Lovell’s historic observation during the Apollo 8 mission that “the Moon is essentially grey”, a quote now engraved on the caseback.

The anodised aluminium skeletonized dial mirrors the structure of the Apollo 8 model, revealing the movement’s mainplate and bridges, laser-ablated to depict the Moon’s surface and now finished in a matching grey tone.
The dial layout includes a small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock, a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, and a 12-hour recorder at 6 o’clock. The Moonwatch-style hands and bevelled indexes are greyed and filled with white Super-LumiNova, glowing green in low light.
Powering the watch is the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3869, the same movement used in the Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon “Apollo 8”, featuring meticulous decoration inspired by the lunar surface.
Completing the monochrome theme, the watch is available with a grey nylon fabric strap or a grey rubber strap, both secured by a grey ceramic and titanium folding clasp.
The Speedmaster Grey Side of the Moon is priced at CHF 12,800, equivalent to approximately AED 58,500.

All hands and bevelled indexes are blackened and filled with black Super-LumiNova, emitting a green glow in low light.
Through the sapphire caseback, the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9900 is visible, presented in a special “Black Edition” finish. This includes a matte-blackened rotor, main plate, and bridges, accented by black varnished engravings.
