Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A simple watch displaying both the second time zone and date
When it comes to pure, functional watchmaking without the usual fuss, ochs und junior is in a league of its own. Founded by Ludwig Oechslin, a man who believes fewer parts mean better watches, the brand has walked in this philosophy and applied it to all its releases. In its latest, the brand introduces the Two Time Zones + Date.
The watch features a 42mm case crafted from grade 5 titanium. Including the crystal, the total thickness measures 12.5mm, slim enough to slip easily under a cuff. The case sports a brushed finish and is fitted with a screw-down crown and a sapphire crystal treated with an anti-reflective coating. Flipping it over, you’ll find a solid caseback that contributes to the watch’s practical 100 meters of water resistance. Here’s where the magic truly happens. The dial is a brown PVD-coated surface with a circular-brushed finish, punctuated by beige indications. The peripheral date uses 30+1 holes, with a beige dot marking today’s date. Time-telling is delightfully clever: indices sit at 12, 2, 4, 6, and 8 o'clock, while a central disc displays Arabic numerals for home time.
You read the local time with a central hour hand, while a smaller disc at 12 o'clock shows the power reserve. The running seconds are indicated by a disc at 6 o'clock, and the 2-minute-spaced date holes can also be used to roughly track the passing seconds. Super-LumiNova on the hands, indices, and numerals ensures excellent nighttime legibility.
Powering the watch is the Ulysse Nardin UN-118 automatic movement, featuring a high-tech silicon hairspring. It beats at 28,800 vph (4Hz) and offers a 60-hour power reserve. On top of that, ten ingenious components, designed by Ludwig Oechslin himself, handle the second time zone and date functions.

The watch comes fitted with an eco-friendly leather strap, secured with a grade 5 titanium buckle. It is available to order now with a 50% deposit, with delivery expected approximately four months after placing your order. As for the price, it comes in at CHF 6,900, which is approximately AED 30,600.
