Sandwich Dial Watch Honoring Environmental Work
Oak & Oscar was founded in Chicago in 2015 by Chase Fancher. Since its inception, the brand has collaborated with talented individuals to design and produce beautifully crafted watches, watch wallets, and accessories. Oak & Oscar is not only committed to creating outstanding products but also giving back to the community. Every purchase supports One Tail at a Time, a local dog rescue organization dedicated to rescuing and adopting out dogs in need. Following several releases, we are excited to present their latest creation, the "HUMBOLDT GMT SAR." This timepiece is a collaboration with the brave men and women of the St. Louis County Rescue Squad, who patrol the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in northern Minnesota. The Humboldt GMT SAR is a tribute to the squad’s dedication, designed for the demanding nature of their work in over a million acres of wilderness, where every second counts during rescue missions.
The watch comes with a lightweight brushed Grade 5 titanium case with a 39.5mm diameter, 46.8mm lug-to-lug, and a thickness of 12.5mm, and offering exceptional durability and a 200m water resistance, making it ideal for rugged environments. The case incorporates advanced anti-shock and anti-magnetic technology, including an internal rubber stabilizer and a Faraday cage, which protect the movement from impacts and harmful magnetic fields. Additionally, the blue ceramic compass bezel insert is not only visually striking but also features a lume application for enhanced visibility. The solid caseback further contributes to the watch’s robust construction, ensuring long-lasting reliability in demanding conditions. The dial is protected by double-domed sapphire with a multilayer anti-reflective coating, adding to the overall strength and clarity of the dial.
The watch features a distinctive two-layer sandwich dial with a navy blue base. The orange seconds hand matches the orange minute track at the dial’s edges, while white numerals and hour indices surround a white-filled ring that houses the arrow-shaped GMT hand and hour, minute, second hands all coated with Super-LumiNova for enhanced legibility. The dial is thoughtfully designed with a cutout to accommodate the date window at 6 o'clock, combining functionality with a visual appeal.
The watch is powered by the Swiss-made Sellita SW330, an automatic movement with manual winding. Operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 56-hour power reserve. The movement also features an independent 24-hour hand, allowing the wearer to track two time zones simultaneously.

It comes with an orange rubber strap and titanium pin buckle with tan canvas strap and titanium pin buckle. The watch is a limited edition of 50 pieces, and priced at USD 2,350 approximately equivalent to AED 8,700.
