Introducing Norqain Unveils the Independence Wild One Meteorite Special Edition

As part of its participation in Dubai Watch Week 2025, Norqain is launching the Wild One Meteorite Special Edition, expanding the collection by introducing a rare natural material into its ultra-resistant platform.

The case is constructed from burgundy NORTEQ, a carbon fibre based composite developed for high impact resistance. A titanium core houses the movement and is protected by an integrated rubber shock absorber. The case measures 42 mm in diameter and 12.3 mm in thickness. Sapphire crystals are fitted on both the front and the caseback, while a screw-down crown ensures water resistance to 200 metres.

The dial is crafted from genuine iron meteorite, finished in a deep grey tone that allows the natural texture to stand out under different lighting. Applied skeletonised indices are treated in black and finished with luminous tips, while the openworked hands are filled with luminous material.

Powering the watch is the automatic calibre NN20/1, developed in collaboration with Kenissi. The movement operates at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offers a power reserve of 70 hours. It is chronometer certified and designed for long term stability under demanding conditions.

The watch is fitted with an integrated rubber strap featuring a refined textured pattern. Buyers can choose between a matching NORTEQ pin buckle or an optional black DLC coated titanium folding clasp. The watch is limited to 300 pieces and is priced at CHF 5,950, which is equivalent to AED 26,600.
