The American brand expands the Sector line with a stunning black aesthetic release
Independent watchmaking has seen few success stories as authentic as Nodus. The Los Angeles–based brand has built its name on craftsmanship and community rather than hype. Every watch is designed and assembled in L.A., with the founders maintaining open communication about their processes, regulation standards, and the manufacturing ecosystem that supports their creations. This practical and transparent approach has made Nodus a favorite among enthusiasts who value substance over spectacle.

Within that philosophy, the Sector collection serves as the brand’s creative framework, offering tool watches that share a modular design across field, diver, and pilot categories. In its latest release, the brand introduces the Sector II Pilot DLC, continuing the line’s evolution with a stealth-inspired aesthetic that combines aviation utility with modern design refinement.
The watch features a 316L stainless-steel case with a matte black DLC coating, measuring 40 mm in diameter, 11.7 mm in thickness, and 47 mm from lug to lug. Both the case and crystal have been re-engineered to achieve this slim profile, making it one of the thinnest Seiko NH-based designs ever produced by the brand. A box-shaped sapphire crystal with a blue anti-reflective coating on the underside protects the dial, while a screw-down crown ensures water resistance up to 100 meters.

The dial comes in deep black with subtle textures that enhance legibility. Neon-green accents recall the glow of aircraft instrument panels, chosen for their clarity in low-light conditions. The layout includes bold Arabic numerals, a detailed minute track, and a practical day-date display at 3 o’clock. All hands and indices are coated with Super-LumiNova BGW9 Grade A, ensuring exceptional nighttime visibility.

Powering the watch is the Seiko NH36 automatic calibre, operating at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz) with a 41-hour power reserve. The watch is paired with a DLC-coated stainless-steel bracelet equipped with quick-release spring bars for easy strap changes. It also features Nodus’s proprietary Extension clasp, allowing micro-adjustments on the wrist for enhanced comfort throughout the day. The watch is priced at USD 625, equivalent to AED 2,790.
