Two new additions to the brand’s diving watch category
Maurice Lacroix is a Swiss luxury watch brand established in 1975, known for its blend of traditional Swiss craftsmanship and innovative design. In 2013, Maurice Lacroix released its first diver watch, the Pontos S Diver. This model combined robust functionality with elegant aesthetics, appealing to both professional divers and watch enthusiasts. The Pontos S Diver was discontinued due to the success of the Aikon collection. However, over the years, Maurice Lacroix received numerous requests to bring back their dive watch, which they did last year.
Now, Maurice Lacroix has expanded this collection with the release of two new variants: a sleek black DLC case and a limited edition in bronze. While preserving the overall design of the original collection, the new Pontos S Diver has been slightly reduced in size, now measuring 42mm instead of 43mm. Its water resistance has been adjusted from 600m to 300m, and the helium escape valve has been removed.
The watch is 13mm thick and features a large crown at the 2 o’clock position for the inner diving bezel, and a winding crown at 3 o’clock. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, and the steel caseback is secured by six screws. The first model features a brushed bronze case with a black dial and a date window at 6 o'clock. The hands and indexes have an elegant gold hue and are coated with Super-LumiNova. The second model is housed in a sandblasted black DLC stainless steel case with a black dial, accented with white and yellow details.

The new Pontos S Diver is powered by the caliber ML115, an automatic movement based on the Sellita SW200-1. This movement operates at 28,800 vph (4Hz) and offers 38-hours of power reserve. The bronze variant comes with a vintage brown leather strap and a bronze pin buckle. It is limited to 888 pieces and priced at USD 2,700, equivalent to AED 10,000. The black variant features a black rubber strap with a sandblasted black DLC pin buckle and is priced at USD 2,250, equivalent to AED 8,300.
