Two elegant releases with different sizes and colors

Maurice Lacroix, a distinguished Swiss watchmaker, was founded in 1975 in the Jura region. Known for its commitment to precision, craftsmanship and its affordable prices, including having its own ateliers, workshops, and manufacturing facilities. One of the iconic releases from the brand is the AIKON collection, which was first introduced in 2016 with a quartz movement. The collection has grown to encompass numerous colors, complications, sizes, materials, and some with mechanical movements.

AIKON Automatic Middle East Edition

After the brand's first release of 2024, the AIKON Automatic Middle East Edition - a modern timepiece capturing the charm of the Middle East and its cultural vibrancy, with a blue dial, recalling the vast Arabian skies. The brand unveils the AIKON PVD Limited Edition which is offered in two variants, one in midnight blue, while the other comes in a gunmetal gray.

Both watches share a stainless steel case; however, the difference lies in the dimensions. The midnight blue variant comes in a 39 mm blue PVD-coated case, while the gunmetal gray variant features a 42 mm gunmetal PVD-coated case. Both cases exhibit a blend of brushed and polished finishes, creating a visually appealing and beautiful exterior. Maintaining a sleek profile, both watches share a thickness of 11 mm. The bezel stands out with an eye-catching six "claws" design, adding a touch of sophistication. The screwed crown ensures water resistance up to 200 meters. The front glass is constructed from sapphire crystal with a double anti-reflective coating for enhanced clarity, and the case back is designed as an open case back with sapphire crystal, allowing a glimpse into the movement of the timepiece.

The dial designs of these watches exhibit attention to detail and elegance. Both variants feature a clous de Paris motif on the dial. The hands and indexes are presented in either matte black or rhodium-plating, complemented by white super-luminova for enhanced visibility.

The beating heart of both watches is the caliber ML115, an automatic movement that operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz), with 38 hours of power reserve. The caliber ML115 features a rhodium-plated movement embellished with intricate Perlage and Colimaçon patterns. Adding an extra layer of refinement, the rotor is adorned with Côtes de Genève.

Both watches come with either a blue or black rubber strap, showcasing the iconic Maurice Lacroix 'm' logo. Securing the strap is a convenient pin buckle, equipped with the innovative Maurice Lacroix Easy Strap Exchange system. This user-friendly feature allows for a seamless and tool-free transition between different straps. The AIKON PVD Limited Edition is limited to 888 pieces, and they both share the price of CHF 2,300, which is equivalent to AED 9,800.
