The inaugural timepiece from the jules Verne Tourbillon trilogy
Louis Moinet's "Cosmic Art" collection elegantly fuses celestial allure with horological craftsmanship. Renowned for their cosmic-themed designs, the watches in this collection display dials crafted from celestial materials—be it meteorite fragments, or moon dust. A standout piece, the Cosmopolis Watch that was released this year, holds the distinction of being the world's only timepiece to feature 12 different cosmic rocks over the watch dial. The latest addition to this collection is the Jules Verne Tourbillon “To the Moon'', which marks the inaugural piece in the Jules Verne Tourbillon trilogy. The timepiece centers a rare lunar meteorite within its design, limited to a mere eight pieces, this watch offers watch enthusiasts the choice of selecting their desired lunar meteorite piece directly via Louis Moinet's official website, with two more timepieces in orange and blue dials.

The watch is encased in a brushed and polished 18k 5N rose gold case, measuring 40.70 mm in diameter. Protecting the artistic dial within is a domed sapphire crystal that ensures clarity, complementing its elegance are the fluted crown and openworked lugs. It offers 30 meters of water resistance.

The dial features a guilloché pattern under a translucent green varnish, providing a nice backdrop. At the center lies the lunar meteorite, which prospective owners are presented with an exclusive choice of 8 distinct meteorite patterns, making each watch a one-of-a-kind piece. Ensuring legibility, the faceted and skeletonised hour and minute hands are infused with luminescence, glowing in dim conditions. The one minute flying tourbillon is off-centered adding a touch of mechanical beauty.
