The brand’s first horizontal regulator, merging the playful ingenuity of the Russian watchmaker
Louis Erard and Konstantin Chaykin return with a new collaboration, described by the brand as aimed at redefining standards, overturning traditions, and breaking conventions, with a wide smile. Following the great success of their first collaboration, which spanned three editions, the last being the Time Eater 3, the two brands now open a new chapter together with the Unfrogettable watch.
The watch carries the name Frog Princess, inspired by Slavic mythology. It comes in a fully redesigned case, with a regulator dial transformed into a unique character reminiscent of the Russian watchmaker’s style, marking Louis Erard’s first horizontal regulator display.
Thanks to Chaykin’s inventive touch and Louis Erard’s rebellious spirit, the result is something no one asked for, but no one will forget. Behind the playful design lies precision, and beyond the madness, mastery. This is what Louis Erard delivers in its latest collaboration with Konstantin Chaykin.
In this new chapter of their partnership, the case has been completely redesigned. Crafted from Grade 5 titanium, it is both lightweight and robust. Measuring 40 mm in diameter and just 12.45 mm thick, it is slimmer and smaller than previous editions. Surfaces alternate between satin-brushed and polished finishes, while the crown at 12 o’clock is inspired by a royal crown. The case back features a PVD treatment, engraved with: “Louis Erard Konstantin Chaykin 1 of 178.”
Eyes wide open. Pupils alert. Staring right at you. The iconic Louis Erard regulator display takes a turn, flipping horizontally: hours at 9 o’clock, seconds at 3 o’clock, and an arrow-shaped minutes hand cutting through the center, a nod to the Frog Princess tale. As time ticks, the pupils spin; the watch face comes alive.
The dial plays with contrast: a violet or forest green grained base, matching lacquered nostrils, and a dual-tone minutes ring with a red section engraved with “Louis Erard ❤️ Konstantin Chaykin.”
On the green dial, the dark green and red hour ring features light green and light pink transfers, a lower plate in light green with a grained finish, dark green lacquered nostrils, and dark green circular satin-finished hour and seconds rings with light green transfer markers. The logos appear in white at 6 o’clock.
The hands are 2N-plated hour and minute discs with matte and satin finishes, black-lacquered pupils, and SLN C5 green luminescent accents. The arrow-shaped minute hand is 2N-plated with a SLN C5 green luminescent tip.

The purple dial features a dark purple and red hour ring with white transfers, a lower plate in light purple with a grained finish, dark purple lacquered nostrils, and dark purple circular satin-finished hour and seconds rings with white transfer markers. The logos appear in white at 6 o’clock. The hands are Rhodium-treated hour and minute discs with matte and satin finishes, black-lacquered pupils, and SLN C1 green luminescent accents. The arrow-shaped minute hand is Rhodium-plated with a SLN C1 green luminescent tip.
Powering the watch is the Sellita SW266-1 caliber, an automatic movement measuring 25.60 mm in diameter and 5.60 mm in height, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) with a 38-hour power reserve. The movement is elegantly decorated and fitted with a specially designed openworked oscillating weight.
The straps are made of black diamond leather, crafted from Himeji Kurozan cowhide using techniques inspired by samurai armor. Hand-rubbed, naturally tanned, and finished with traditional Urushi lacquer, the leather offers both matte and glossy depth. Violet or green stitching complements a vivid rabbit leather inner lining. A polished Grade 5 titanium pin buckle, with a satin-finished “LE” logo plate and quick-release spring bars, ensures easy strap changes.
Developed in collaboration with Konstantin Chaykin, this watch is a 178-piece limited edition, priced at CHF 4,500, equivalent to AED 20,500.
