First Look Louis Erard Opens a New Chapter With the 2340 Collection

The brand’s first integrated sports watch, shaping its future

Louis Erard opens a bold new chapter in its history with the launch of the 2340 collection, a name that carries deeper meaning than it first appears. It takes its name from the postal code of Le Noirmont, the village that has been home to the brand since 1929, marking the maison’s first venture into the world of elegant sports watches with an integrated bracelet.

After five years of strategic expansion focused on regulator watches and remarkable collaborations, a strategy crowned with success, the company now unveils a creation that perfectly embodies its design philosophy. The result is not a passing limited edition, but a core model that defines the future of Louis Erard. The 2340 is more than just a watch; it is a statement of identity that fuses heritage and modernity with unmistakable character.

The case of the 2340 measures 40 mm in diameter (41.5 mm lug to lug) yet wears slimmer thanks to its low-profile, ergonomic shape. With a thickness of just 8.95 mm, it stands among the slimmest watches from the brand.

The case middle is crafted from brushed titanium, while the lugs, bezel, crown, and caseback are made of polished stainless steel — adding contrast, shine, and structure.

On each side, four polished gadroons give the case its distinctive identity. More than a stylistic signature, they also conceal the invisible bracelet connection.

The dial is available in three color options dark blue, slate blue, and mint green, each featuring a unique stamping technique to create texture and depth. The mint green lacquered dial features an oblong-stamped pattern inspired by capsules, a playful nod to both the color and the logo positioned at 6 o’clock.

The steel blue and deep blue dials display a linear stamped texture, echoing the bracelet’s design and visually tying the composition together.

All dials feature floating, diamond-cut hour markers for added depth, while the baton-style hands are brushed and polished for enhanced legibility and light play. A railway track frames the dial, with the Louis Erard name subtly integrated into the design.

Powering the trio is the Sellita SW300-1 caliber, a slim, Swiss-made automatic movement just 3.6 mm thick. It marks the first use of this caliber in a Louis Erard collection. Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), it offers a 56-hour power reserve and features the brand’s signature black-lacquered rotor, signed and uniquely decorated.

The 2340 bracelet is a bold statement in itself, a fully integrated, tapered five-link design composed of 92 components.

Its architecture is as technical as it is aesthetic: the brushed titanium outer links contrast elegantly with polished steel center links. The bracelet is secured with a spring-loaded butterfly clasp, fully concealed when worn.

The new 2340 trio is not a limited edition and is priced at CHF 2,990, equivalent to approximately AED 13,700.
