Crafting Timepieces With Monster Faces, From white to a darker aesthetic
Louis Erard, renowned for crafting unique and affordable Swiss-made watches, has ventured into a world of collaborations under the visionary leadership of Manuel Emch. These collaborations encompass a wide spectrum, from métiers d’art to partnerships with creative minds such as Label Noir, Massena Lab, and many more.

On the other hand, Konstantin Chaykin, a distinguished member of the AHCI (Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants) renowned for his inventive spirit with 94 patents to his name, has left a mark on the world of horology, particularly with his watch faces. These faces tell a unique story, that of monsters. This collection, aptly named "Wristmons" or "wrist monsters," made its debut in 2017 and has expanded since then, akin to a growing family of charmingly mischievous characters.

The convergence of Louis Erard and Konstantin Chaykin's creative energies has given rise to an enigmatic creation, a one-eyed monster endowed with the essence of mechanical life. Notably, in this unique timepiece, it is not we who observe the time, but rather, the time gazes back at us through a singular, all-encompassing round eye, creating a new horological experience. Taking its inspiration from, The evil eye of Slavic tales, the Likho, and presenting the “LE RÉGULATEUR LOUIS ERARD X KONSTANTIN CHAYKIN 42MM & 39MM” in white aesthetics.
Now, the new "LE RÉGULATEUR" adopts a darker theme with its monocle eye marred by burst veins. The "LE RÉGULATEUR LOUIS ERARD X KONSTANTIN CHAYKIN DUSK TO DAWN" shares identical specifications with its counterparts. It features a polished stainless steel case measuring 42mm in diameter and 12.25mm in thickness, crowned by a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. The watch also boasts a black transparent caseback.
However, the 39mm variant presents a sand-blasted stainless steel case with a black PVD treatment and a slightly greater thickness of 12.82mm. Like its larger counterpart, it showcases a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides but is distinguished by a red transparent caseback, with caseback engraved “Limited Edition 1 of 178” for both timepieces.
The dial of the 42mm, comes in an anthracite lower plate with sunray wave pattern, anthracite circular satin-finished hour flange that features a white hour disc with black pupil and red blood veins presenting the monster's angry eye, and a red seconds flange that features a matt black star-shaped seconds disc that presenting the monster’s mouth, and a shiny red minute hand that presents the monster’s hand.
While the 39mm dial features, a black lower plate with sunray wave pattern, a matt black satin-finished hour flange at 12 o’clock with a white hour disc that features a black pupil and red blood veins, and a red seconds flange at 6 o’clock that features a matt black star-shaped seconds disc, and a shiny red minute hand.
