Longines Introduced three years ago, the Longines Spirit collection epitomizes the culmination of the company's rich heritage in watchmaking, seamlessly fusing craftsmanship with its aesthetics.

Drawing its inspiration from the world of aviation, the Collection offers enthusiasts two variations, a classic time only display, a time-and-date display, an automatic chronograph and even a GMT function. Crafted from stainless steel cases, with reasonable prices as we have mentioned in the top 10 watches under USD 5,000, these models do differ in size, catering to diverse tastes, and available in both 40mm and 42mm.
This year, and for the first time, the Spirit Flyback chronograph comes in a grade 5 titanium case, ensuring lightweight and corrosion-resistant properties. It has a diameter of 42mm and a thickness of 17mm. The case features a combination of brushed and polished surfaces, a screw-in crown, and a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, and surrounded by a 60-minute ceramic bi-directional rotating bezel filled with Super-LumiNova.The sapphire case back is secured with six screws, offering 100 meters of water resistance.
The anthracite-colored sunray polished gilt dial features gold-colored hour and minute hands, as well as a gold central seconds hand with red tipping, with applied Arabic numerals, all filled with Superluminova to enhance visibility in low light conditions. Additionally, the dial includes a 30-minute sub-dial positioned at 3 o'clock and a 60-second sub-dial at 9 o'clock. These sub-dials, along with the inner flange, are surrounded by a gold-colored ring, imparting a touch of luxury to the design.
Nestled inside the case and revealed through the transparent sapphire case back, lies the renowned caliber L791, crafted by ETA exclusively for Longines and bears the chronometer certification from COSC.The caliber boasts an array of features, including a column wheel and a flyback function, and a monocrystalline silicon balance spring. Operating at 28,800vph (4Hz), and offers 68 hours of power reserve.
