Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A Blend of Aviation Heritage and Swiss Watchmaking Precision
Five years after Longines first introduced the Spirit line, and drawing on nearly a century of aviation heritage, the brand expands its Spirit pillar with the new Spirit Pilot and Spirit Pilot Flyback models for 2025. These timepieces remain faithful to the Spirit collection’s distinctive aesthetic while reinforcing Longines’ position in the pilot’s watch category through design authenticity and refined tool-watch functionality. The new watches seamlessly blend traditional aeronautical features with modern horological innovation, embodying the pioneering spirit that defines the brand.

The expanded Spirit collection for 2025 introduces fresh iterations of the Spirit Pilot, representing a considered evolution of the line’s established designs.

The Spirit Pilot refines the three-hand model with subtle yet impactful updates, while the Spirit Pilot Flyback elevates the chronograph variant with enhanced sophistication. Together, they unite traditional characteristics with state-of-the-art technologies in a harmonious balance of elegance and functionality.
The Longines Spirit Pilot
The three-hand Spirit Pilot comes in a 39 mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 11.5 mm, combining polished and brushed surfaces for a refined finish. Like its chronograph sibling, the watch offers 100 meters of water resistance.

The matte black dial has been streamlined, with the five stars and date display of the original Spirit three-hand model removed, while the minute track has been refined for improved clarity. Gold-toned hands and applied Arabic numerals provide striking contrast for optimal legibility.
Powering the watch is the proprietary Longines L888.4, a COSC-certified automatic movement with a 72-hour power reserve. Featuring a silicon balance spring and antimagnetic resistance ten times superior to the ISO 764 standard, it delivers the reliability and precision required of an aviation timepiece.

Strap options include a stainless steel bracelet, brown leather, or a textured green rubber strap. Both the leather strap and bracelet are fitted with micro-adjustable clasps, while the straps are equipped with quick-release systems (the bracelet is not).

The watch is priced at CHF 2,500 (approximately AED 10,200) with a stainless steel bracelet, CHF 2,300 (around AED 9,400) with a leather strap, and CHF 2,200 (about AED 9,000) with a rubber strap.
Technical specifications: Longines Spirit Pilot

The new Spirit Pilot Flyback introduces reimagined proportions with a refined 39.5 mm stainless steel case measuring just 13.4 mm in thickness. The bidirectional rotating bezel benefits from an improved mechanism and, for the first time, incorporates a countdown function. A box-shaped sapphire crystal and matte black dial contribute to a vintage-inspired cockpit-instrument look. Gold-coloured hands and applied numerals, treated with Super-LumiNova, ensure excellent legibility while honouring the functional heritage of pilot watches.
Through the sapphire crystal case back, the in-house Longines L792.4 is visible. This hand-wound column-wheel chronograph movement offers a flyback function, a 68-hour power reserve, and COSC chronometer certification. Enhanced with a silicon balance spring and robust antimagnetic properties, it is engineered to perform reliably under demanding conditions.
